I’m playing through 9 for the first time and it’s fun! I just got all the party members and Vivi, Freya, Eiko and Quina are my favorites.

A few months ago, I got the idea Vincent having scars that go down the entire length of his inner legs.

My reason for this is because the great saphenous vein, which is located in the legs, is often used in cardiac surgeries and grafts. It’s likely that this was used by either H*jo when he was using him as a lab rat, or by Lucrecia when she tried to save him.

since vincent travels so much he'll often stay at members of the gang's houses for a night or two if they're nearby. yuffie, cid, and tifa+cloud are the ones he frequents the most, since he's often in the nibel-rocket town-wutai area or stopping by edge to rest

he prefers to turn down their hospitality and they have to usher him in like a stray animal. all of them insist he uses their facilities to at least bathe. usually he ends up gossiping all night and eating a stupid amount of candy with yuffie, helping cid with a project, or testing wines for tifa.

he kinda just vanishes once he's ready to go, but he'll leave behind little notes and thank you gifts in weird spots that don't get found till like a week later (he and yuffie have made it into a game of whether yuffie can find it or vincent can get to his next destination first)
