I swear to god girls can't win any sort of victory without a guy coming along and shitting all over it/making excuses, especially if it's in something that they think is traditionally a "masculine" thing. Beat a guy at a game? "You only won because I pressed the wrong button" (ok but that conveniently happened every time you lost) Once my friend was stuck on a particular enemy in the game, her brother had tried and failed to beat it, I tried and did first time around. Afterwards it was "oh he was really drunk when he tried doing it though" One time I was doing an endurance test where I was the only girl and we had to hold a plank for 5 minutes, but they didn't expect you to do so for the whole time. I managed to while most of the guys had to drop at some point, I proudly told my brother later, then "well they were probably just saving their energy" But if you beat them at something that's traditionally "girly", it becomes "well it doesn't count because you're a girl". This sort of thing persists throughout our entire lives and in issues much bigger than video games and fitness. So tell me, when does it "count"?

We still need feminism because
strange men will only start talking to me with respect/leave me alone after I take off my jacket and they realise I have enough muscle mass to pose a potential threat to them and their “masculinity”.

Cubone. Who’s description in the Pokedex is this.
Warning: feels ahead
Ok so I’ve known these two kids since they were born and our family had been friends with their parents before then. Sadly, their mother passed away last year. They were round our house for dinner the other night and I’ve let them play some of my pokemon games before and one of them always loved firered.
Anyway he didn’t have pokemon go yet so I let him look through the pokemon I’d caught so far. at some point he asked “can you call this one (his own name)?” I said sure and thought nothing of it. But later I realised, that of all the pokemon he could have picked…
…he picked cubone.
