I've had theories about her pregnancy...

1. Gwen and kevins energy cancel out in the child. Like he feeds off gwen energy when he's a fetus but after birth his powers down work as well since he got both of them.

2. Gwen spent her pregnancy , atleast most of it, in legerdomain because devlin fed off her energy too much. But she never told kevin about it.

I don't necessarily care for devlin being allegedly retconned to be gwendolyn's kid, but like- if that's the case then we do all agree that it was definitely a breaking dawn bella swan kind of pregnancy right? there's no way in hell an osmosian and an anodite can just procreate with no fucked up consequences whatsoever.

And for devlin too like- could his osmosian genes constantly feed off his own anodite spark? would he be out of control by default?

Just realised that scene in the plane where ben asks her to use her powers and Kevin refuses is this quote I read a while ago:

A hero would sacrifice you for the world , but a bad guy will sacrifice the world for you.

Like I know ben cares for Gwen but in the moment his responsibilty for the world was a priority, which fair enough. But Kevin, "the bad guy " , was like screw this my girl is more important.

yeah yeah Gwen overlooking all the damage Ultimate Kevin was causing was nuts or whatever, but one too many people tend to forget that in the episode A Knight to Remember (an episode where the trio figures they're dealing with a galactic dictator who's leading a cult made up of humanoid creatures that can cross through dimensions, an immortal man leading his own army- who was willing to kill all aliens on Earth including their friends and colleagues- and potentially fucking God), Kevin literally says "bro I don't care how bad this is, my girl is feeling sick so we're not doing this"

Worry

I get how there's this running joke of how Gwen always runs to Kevin when he's potentially hurt , rather than Ben , her own cousin. But I've been thinking and there might be a better explanation.

See, Gwen's been to the future atleast once since she was 10. She's seen Ben in the future , and she's heard stuff about Ben 10,000 too.

So in a way, she knows whatever happens when their teens , Ben is going to come out okay because she knows his future self is alive and kicking.

She doesn't necessarily need to worry about his life.

Thing with Kevin though is that no one ever mentions his future self. She didn't see him when she was 10 and anyone who comes from the future never really speaks of him.

Even in ultimate alien when Ben 10,000 comes back, he talks to gwen about her being president but nothing about Kevin is said.

So gwen worries because she has no idea if Kevin is okay or not.

Doesn't mean she doesn't care about Ben, it's just that she had reason not to overly worry.

Yeah I think this is the one!! Gwen was supposedly really good at dealing cards and Kevin had her deal cards so he'd win against micheal. And as a winner he took gwen on a date. Ben was mad about it.

That's where the story kinda stopped being updated lol.

There was another 1920s story but it was a oneshot where gwen was a dancer and Kevin had a thing for her.
