it's not even 11 am that's wild. i have been up for many hours ig, since our AC is on the fritz and rattos can't regulate their body temp that well and we're in a heat wave and stuff. having a whole day ahead of me still feels weird bc I've been doing things for so many hours already. gonna try to write a little, if the elbow will cooperate!!

I used to have a friend who I would talk to almost every night, and when it was bedtime I would read books we both liked until she fell asleep. i miss that. i miss reading to people.
