Week 3: The Owl House
First, go to the Owl House tag on Tumblr (add "season one" if you don't want spoilers) and reblog a few posts you find interesting/funny/relatable/etc.
Go to Archive of Our Own - The Owl HouseLinks to an external site. and search by your favorite character(s). Look through the tags and make note of at least three that stand out.
Answer the following questions:
Based on the show so far, how would you apply one of our frameworks to it in order to analyze it? Please give examples from the episodes we've watched.
Culture-Centered Analysis: Luz is Afro-Latine, Gus is Black, Willow is coded/read (to most fans/show runners) as Asian.

Queer Analysis: questioning categories & norms; queer history; identity & representation; LGBT+ issues

SEM 601: Timeline
Using Knight Lab's Timeline creator, create an interactive timeline and add it as a link here. Some things you could make your timeline about:
Your life (or a specific period of importance)
Your favorite celebrity's career
The timeline of changes in your favorite genre of music
Your favorite sports team's history - major moments
Your time as a grad student!
Your favorite moment in history
And so on...the limit is your imagination! You should include different colors for the sections, photos, and video.

Using Flourish, create a data visualization for a data set of your choice. It also doesn't have to be a bubble chart! Play with a couple of charts that seem interesting to you. You may use data you've found in your research or look up free available data sets online. Here's an example:
