he danced with constellations and she treads through rushing waves. and he was lost to her, in the way the moon reflected onto the waters. in the way the waves pushed against the sands. these stars of his burst and implode in waves.

e-baker:
Slow. That’s how Elliot would describe the day. Time seemed to drag throughout the course of the day, and he was ready for it to be over, with having been there since daybreak to get things ready. He could’ve left things to his sister and parents, but with father’s back and his sister’s current situation, he found himself unable to sneak away. Luckily, there was only an hour or so left of daylight, meaning he’ll soon be free.
A bell chimed, an indication that someone had entered the bakery. Elliot, who had his back to the door to to take stock of the goods, turned to the door. “Welcome,” he greeted, his accent a telling of his origins. “How may I help?”
From a young age, Thomas had always favored the countryside to the city; particularly when it came to London. It was (nevertheless) part of his duties to attend the season, for the representation of his father and the pressing matter of his engagement. Making his way to the city the very moment that his father commanded. However, he did not intend to be as late as he was when arriving at the family’s city home, most of the day now lost to travelling. He would still be required to attend the dinner party that would be in the evening, but he needed something to prevent his hunger till then – stopping at a small bakery in his short walk to find sustenance. A smile appeared upon the warm welcome that was received, “Afternoon,” he responded, eyes scanning the items for sale, “Any recommendations?”

LONDON WELCOMES THOMAS OSBORNE, THE TWENTY-SIX YEAR OLD LORD. I HEARD HE IS DESCRIBED AS ADROIT AND SEDULOUS BUT ALSO IRASCIBLE AND PEDANTIC.
hello all!! b/blake coming at you with this chap - some basic useless information on him under the read more. i cannae wait to start interacting with you, but if you want to plot something beforehand then drop me a message. (also, 21 and UTC)
his father is the duke of leeds and earl of danby, and distant cousin to both french and english royalty, whilst his mother was from the sucre, an influential venezuelan family. the marriage was built on the hope of forming new alliances. his mother died in childbirth when thomas was still young, and though he was named tomás by her, his father made it clear that he would be addressed in the english form, thomas and was christened as so.
upon his birth, he inherited the title earl of danby and marquess of carmarthen.
until he was thirteen, thomas was educated by a private tutor; learning languages such as spanish, latin, french and greek, as well as being educated in arithmetic, geography, history, politics and philosophy. upon completing this education, he was sent to eton by his father where he progressed in his studies and sports. his education came to an end after attending st andrews, which he graduated from.
when away from school, he would spend his time at the family residence, hornby castle, and enjoyed the freedom that the family estate gave him. however, his father was protective of his children and did not often let them interact with others their own age. therefore he became close to his siblings and children of neighbouring dukes.
the nature of his childhood made thomas fiercely loyal to those closest to him. it was often that the lord had little control over his anger, and so when protecting the people closest to him, he became irritated and somewhat violent. his father made it clear to him that he could not be aggressive if he wished to be a gentlemen hence why he tries to be disciplined in his temper.
his family have traveled to london for the season since thomas can remember, with his father not only being a duke, but also being heavily involved with the tory party. it was surprising that the son of such an established member would be more center than right, with views of worker and women’s rights being that of the left.
it was not till he left eton that he was able to attend many of the social events. thomas never cared for the debutante balls due to the nature of them though enjoyed the dinner parties, where matters could be discussed more freely.
