“hehe sometimes i wonder if you like my food more than me.” of course she was just joking. “i’m quite happy to hear that.” she had been longing to see him for quite some time. he was so glad he showed up. “you’re lucky i just made something!” pulling away from the embrace, she took his hand and led him into the kitchen. on the counter were some freshly made chocolate chip cookies. “help yourself. i hope you like them!”

“true happiness...? i...i’m not sure. am i happy? that’s..debatable. i suppose i like to say i am, but it’s hard to tell if i truly am. perhaps i’ve managed to fool myself into thinking i am, despite how bad a liar i can be.” she lets out a laugh, empty and forced. “i don’t remember the last time i was truly happy. perhaps before...before i fell. it’s been so long since then. maybe true happiness is what i used to have, but i never deserved it.”

“well religiously speaking, it’s a holiday to celebrate the resurrection of jesus christ. he was crucified before being buried, and then rose from the dead three days later. there’s well...a lot of other things to say on that matter. it would take quite awhile though.” she would spare him that long explanation. “taking a less religious look at it, it’s a day where you get presents--specifically candy--from the easter bunny. they’re a lot like santa claus. oh and we usually dye eggs. easter was actually yesterday, but i wouldn’t mind coloring some eggs with you if you would like. and i can share some of my candy too!”

hiatus notice.

i really haven’t been active over here and i don’t have much of anything to do nor do i find myself having a lot of desire to so i may drop this blog. i really like astrid but i dunno i tend to not feel good when i log on. i’m just going to put this blog on hiatus for now. i think i’ll just drop the majority of my ships now since i dunno if/when i’ll be back. i’ll keep two of the ships cuz they’re with close friends. i’ll queue this post a few times. sorry guys.
