You have been going out with Kuroo since your second year in University. You met him at a small party when the two of you were paired for the king challenge.

The King: Okay, number 7 sit on the lap facing the person number 1 for 5 minutes!

You raised your number as the King recites his order which was followed by Kuroo raising his number. Everyone at the Karaoke room was cheering and also a bit drunk cause it was late at night already. And let’s admit it you were drunk too and the alcohol gave you the courage to do shi*t.

Kuroo backed his chair from the table as you walked to him at the other end of the table. He was smirking which made his face irritating to you. Everyone was still squealing and cheering. You were wearing a white tucked in polo to your tight denim jeans and a black ankle boots heels. Kuroo was wearing a plain black shirt, ripped jeans and rubber shoes.

You stood in front of him and he leaned his back on the chair giving me space to sit on, still smirking at you, almost like taunting you if you had the courage to do so. So you sat on his lap with your legs on each side of his, facing him bodies almost touching. And they started the timer, some of them whistled and squealed but your eyes were locked and none of you were fazed by the cheers.

You can hear some girls saying you were so lucky or wish they got your number and some guys saying “Kuroo you lucky bastard.” Because common you were not some Jane, you were gorgeous too and all the alcohol you drank added up to your confidence and flushed face.

Kuroo was the first to strike a conversation asking what your major is and department. You just answered his questions.

From there on, he started inviting you to dinner and dates, he would call you sometimes or just receive unnecessary messages from him (which you find endearing). He invites you to his games and practices because he’s part of the University Volleyball Club.

After few months of him trying to close the gap between the two of you, he started showing up sometimes unannounced at your apartment or he invite you to his.

He never really stated his intentions to you and you were comfortable with how things flew with your relationship but one day out of curiosity you asked him if he wanted to date.
