Where I live is terribly hot, so I wanted to add a little freshness to his cozy farm life full of measured everyday life, caring for chickens and a sudden visit from a couple of strangers who claim to be from the CIA

I really like that AU where Homelander, long before the main plot, drops everything Vought related and lives a secret life somewhere in the American wilderness, in the Appalachian Mountains for example... and I wanted to draw something different from my usual arts.

the idea was to draw a couple of scenes from his ordinary human life, excluding all the devilry that happens in the mountains and in his house in particular.

a couple more pieces of fanart in the same style are coming soon)

It's been a while 😅

Unfortunately, I've been very poorly inspired lately.

The fourth season of The Boys left a bad taste in my mouth, so I have to rely solely on my own imagination.

I love Homelander, but I can't help but continue to idealize him as a character, each time adding some new trait to his character, making him smarter, more balanced, cunning, and in the end it turns out that the chronology of the universe is rewritten and we find ourselves in a completely different history.

I've already imagined this scenario,

Homelander has been missing for years, the news doesn't know where he went, and the new candidates for his place are being eliminated by a team of boys.

but what if one day Butcher himself, unexpectedly, stumbles upon the once strongest man in America, somewhere in the Appalachian Mountains, by pure chance ?
