Back at it again, the Bianchi Pista steel with a few minor updates and a good wipe down.  6 years has been too long.

The gap is becoming larger in the Bay Area.  There is poverty and wealth in every city, but the it’s becoming very apparent in this area with homeless tent communities popping up at an alarming rate.  I feel like the Bay Area is headed into some weird dystopian future that you see in sci-fi movies.

A story about textures.  The new Oris Chronoris Date.
I wanted to shoot this story of a beautiful watch that I saw a few months ago.  I was able to get my hands on one and work some camera magic on the complementary textural elements that really bring a lot of interesting design elements to this piece.  I like the juxtaposition of different materials and metalworking within the watch.  The brushed and polished steel and leather balancing each other out, and the bold use of red against a charcoal, almost egg-shell like textured dial.  It’s all very interesting and i think the watch photographs beautiful because of it.
Shot on a Canon 5D Mark IV.  Canon 180mm f3.5 Macro.
