being relatively adequate academically but absolutely inept emotionally can be the most frustrating thing ever. like. it’s nice that i can apply myself to my studies, but i’m literally dying to figure out who i am and why i feel the way i do and not be so sensitive about it all the time. that doesn’t come nearly as easily as understanding academic concepts does
