That’s the reality of it all; he doesn’t care. I know, you really want to believe that he does and that your relationship ending has hurt him terribly, but even if he does care, he won’t show it. If he cared at all he wouldn’t have left in the first place. He’s not going to show up at your door and beg for your forgiveness, this is not a movie, that isn’t how it works. He isn’t the one that got away or your one great love, he’s a just a complete idiot; a total dick, probably wasn’t worth your time. If he can’t be mature enough to admit that you meant something to him, then screw him, you deserve so much better than that.
