Daily Writing Prompt – Reasons

Media teacher: Part of why media is so constant is that it's so temporary. You can get emotional watching your favorite TV show, but after it's over, you forget about it and move on with your life. You might be upset if a character dies, but you wouldn't lock yourself in your room with a pint of ice cream and cry about it.

Finally having time to write, and only able to stare at your laptop screen shouting "Whhhyyy?!?!?!" as nothing comes to you.

I just realized that “lead” rhymes with “read”, but “lead” also rhymes with “read”.

Sometimes I think how cool it would be to sit down and chat face to face with my characters. And then I realized that if my characters ever actually met me in real life, they’d probably immediately look for a weapon and/or be so inarticulate with rage that they wouldn’t be able to speak.

Listen, I’m sorry a lot of you went through emotional drama that would put most in a padded cell, but there wasn’t any other option at the time!

what if your favorite character knocked on your door at like 3 in the morning drunk as hell asking you to go to taco bell with them would you do it

i hate the saying “apples and oranges” when describing things that are completely different because they are both fruits you should say something like “giraffes and crystal meth”
