1. Write 3k words in 30 minutes

2. Takes 3 hours to write 3 sentences

I feel like I don’t hear that given enough as advice for writers block..just read? Watch tv? Movies? Find inspiration in media.

Writers block is a lack of inspiration, so go collect more.

Ughhhh @elodieunderglass has reinvigorated the scene I want to write for A Good Man’s Heart. The problem is that scene is literally the epilogue. I can’t fit it in at any real point. So now I need to back into writing it so that I can write that scene (don’t worry it lives in a notes document and is being written slowly).

That said: the year is 1763 AD and wheelchairs are either nonexistent or horribly dependent on how industrious or financially capable your family is. Carroll is provided with a horse. It’s close enough to a ship + crew: gentle commands, ropes, balance. Basically a mini ship he can handle.

I don't even do outlines anymore, but this still happens. Planning means nothing; never has.

Do you ever write a sentence and then realize “Nah, that’s too self aware for you” and backspace a bunch of times.

It's frustrating that you can come up with the plot of an entire fic in just a few seconds, but writing it all down can take anywhere from never to forever.
