Sadly, there was just not enough interest/community around this term! It was fun to run, though, and I hope that y’all enjoyed the things that were posted :)

While the term has been broadened by many to include other spectrums of attraction such as aplatonic or afamilial (as unfortunately these are not well known terms even within the aro and ace communities), a-spec has never been restricted to only people who are on both the aromantic spectrum and the asexual spectrum

Omni oriented/angled aroace (having multiple types of attractions) is when you really like one gender in certain attraction(s), and really like another in another attraction(s), but feeling like the different attractions to all of the genders are important. SO you say omni ()without -romantic or -sexual) despite culture putting emphasis on romantic/sexual attraction. (Example: attraction to guys romantically, attraction to girls/enbies queerplatonically)

Hey! I think you’re a bit confused abt the definition of ‘omniaspec.’

Omniaspec is when someone in aspec in every attraction; so someone who is aro, demisexual, greysensual, aplatonic, etc. would be omniaspec!

Omni people who are also aspec are, of course, also open to say they’re omniaspec if they feel that describes them, but there will probably be some confusion! And this blog specifically is about the first definition. Thank you!

Omniaspec culture is being so used to never feeling attraction that when you do get a glimpse of it it feels like uncovering a rare creature

Omni aroace culture is finding this and being excited and then finding out that it's not a ton of people that are also omni oriented/angled but that that omniaspec is very different from what I thought it meant but equally cool.

Omniaspec culture is everything being demi, grey, or flux and never being able to pin down where anything is. But at least you're certain nothing is fully allo.

I don’t think it makes us any better or worse scientists. The only thing you mention that I think could help is being very objective, but that is something anyone can be. 

Also, your whole mindset rubs me the wrong way. ‘Empaths’ don’t really exist, and as someone with a cluster-b PD, its a big red flag for me. I also really hate the concept of IQ. All it is is your ability to learn. It doesn’t measure stuff like critical thinking, which I personally think is a really big measure of intelligence. Plus it also reminds me of how some autism moms (tm) talk about autistic people.

It’s when you are a-spec in every attraction! I’m aro, demisexual/myrsexual, greyaesthetic, demisensual, apl, etc.
