about the MMD one, there's a post on pixiv from 2013 (had to look it up) where someone was posing UTAU MMD models based on photos of cats. looking at the artists profile, they had done it with other utauloids before and had started with defoko

someone took a screenshot of ppoiyo's pose and kinda shared it around (idk when or where this happened, nor do i know who did it. clearly, it had to be someone who was digging around pixiv). i saw the cropped version first and then happened to find the original during a pixiv deep dive once
