Legacy & More

I’ve been perusing the Omnis Region Wiki, and am reminded of what an awesome thing we all created together. Thank you to everyone that submitted, voted, or participated in any way to this project!

One day I would like to do something more with this, either to immortalize the project in some way or to use some of the designs in an actual video game that we can all play and enjoy.

1. Art Book

I think one of the coolest things we could do is to create a limited printing of an art book to chronicle the process we went through to create this region and all of the Fakemon in it. If there is enough interest in this, I would be happy to reach out to the original designers to get approval for their work to be included on a per case basis. I would probably need to hire someone to create the design for the pages and the book itself but I would likely create a rough layout as a starting point. Would anyone be interested in this?

2. Video Game

I would also like to create a video game one day. Because of copyright reasons it would likely be a monster collection game rather than a Pokemon fangame. I would need permission from the designers to use their Fakemon but it’s definitely something that I would be interested in programming. I would also need sprite artists to create the sprites for the Fakemon/Monsters. Would anyone be interested in this?

Just throwing some ideas out there.

Update

With school out, we've all been busy. As a result, we haven't been updatibg the region as much as we'd like. With the new Pokemon confirmed at the Direct though, I think it's safe to say that Game Freak is stealing from us again XD

An Update

We have all been busy with school/family/tumblr going awol, but the announcement of the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Shield titles has us talking! There are some concerns that the games look like they're set in the UK, but we haven't gotten much of a confirmation. If there's any new Pokemon/abilities that look similar to ours, we'll let you guys know!

The Omnis Region mods have been busy with school (I started this past week), so that explains why we've been kinda dead! :'D Hopefully we'll be back to normal soon!

Wesley's Signature Pokemon will be Cinccino!

It was close, but Cinccino barely beat Mantigue for the spot!

On a side note, Cinccino is the only one of the Team Equinox Admins' Aces that is not weak against Rock! It seems like Wesley chose well...

The Realistic Omnis Pokemon fan art contest winner has been confirmed!

@onwardsmynoblesteve's take on Steglass raked in eleven votes, effectively crushing the competition. sollyinpurplepants' realistic Ruasith came in second with five votes, followed by her realistic Traslug with three votes. 

Since we only had two artists participate, both onwardsmynoblesteve and sollyinpurplepants may get to choose the species name and shiny palette for Omnis Pokemon that lack them.
