Due to how sporadic my motivation tends to be and how bad my focus can be at times, along with how vastly my life's changed since i first started this blog, I'm going to be turning once-a-shape into a regular fandom sideblog, simply for posting about my little guys because im Still too attached to them.

I won't be getting rid of asks entirely though, those are still an option! just, don't expect it to be too linear. The old posts will also remain up for archival purposes, since honestly this blog was where my proper fandom experiences began, and so it means a lot to me- to see how far i've come, and how it used to be back then.

While I'm at it, since the blog is not an ask blog anymore,,, might as well share some of the concept art I had from 2019/2020/2021 for it!! You can also have the old playlist I made for the event that I had planned before I restarted the blog!

The name's Lychee! I've had this blog since 2019 as an ask blog, and after some reconsideration, I decided to turn this into a regular fandom blog for JSAB, with maybe some ask blog aspects here and there— So if some characters look familiar to you, then that's probably why!

Hi hello hi! @ginumo here! Also known as @/definetly-not-rada from back when i couldnt spell that word for the life of me, and the mun of this blog!

"Who's this?", you may ask. "I don't remember following some 'once-a-shape' guy." or "This is a new name in the tag. Weird."

This is @ask-some-shapes! Shortly known as @guardian--hell!

I'm sure 90% of the 2019/2020 JSaB fandom isn't around anymore, but if you are! Holy shit hi! And if you're new, hi! I've had this ask blog since 2019!

You know, I've been thinking. I miss my little guys. I miss them a lot. I had an entire storyline prepared for them, and we hadn't even made it past the first event of the blog. A shame! And a few years back (4 years ago. it's been 4 years. jesus) i did bring up the idea of restarting this blog. Which Never Went Through Because If You Know Me You Know That I Rarely Follow Through With My Ideas.

But hear me out on this one. I'm severely shaperotted right now. I miss my guys. The temptation is real. I've been working on redesigns for the past few days. I've been thinking it over. I want to bring this blog back. I will bring this blog back. It's not over yet.

Once I'm done with all the references for the main characters, I'm going to kick this blog back to life god damn it. It'll have a refreshed plot and more developed characters, but they'll be the same ones you've met all those years ago.

Whenever you see one of my posts start with So, you know something's up.

Why this thought?

I realized I could rework some things from the story, as well as dive into more casual moments before jumping straight into the action, which I realized was a mistake from my side. I mean, this was my first actual ask blog ever (without counting a short-lived attempt from deviantart which we will not talk about), and I really just wanted to get things going! Which I understand, it's always fun to start with the cool things. But I feel like it could be done better. You guys could have more background on things before getting straight to the super fancy stuff.

Besides, this'll give me time to rethink some designs and points in the story and actually make it better. I know I keep repeating the same but it's just... yanno. And I really don't want to leave this to waste.

So.

Hello? Is dis blog red? I'm asking the same question that anon asked a long time ago, is dis blog still active?

(( I haven't been active on neither of my ask blogs (aside from ask-some-shapes/@guardian--hell's name change), and I haven't worked on anything for this blog at all, in comparison to the other one, which like I mentioned before, I have some ideas for it, but the problem is the motivation to do the replies ahaha-

(( I've also been into other things, like Hollow Knight, A Hat in Time, and Sky: Children of the Light, and that's been dragging my focus from the shapes that I've drawn for more than a year now,,

(( so yeah-- i don't think I'll get to work on either of these blogs any time soon because of those things and because online school is a bitch ass motherfucker, but you can always check out my art blog @ginumo, which is where i've been the most active!
