burn your music onto cds

use pdf24 (available online or as a desktop app) instead of adobe

use unroll.me to clean your email inboxes

use thunderbird, mailfence, countermail, edison mail, tuta, or proton mail instead of gmail

Since there's a lot of upsetting stories about disassociation out there, I figure people can have my own personal story about it because it is, in fact, equal parts funny and ridiculous.

When I was a kid, I really wanted a shiny pokemon. I did all the things you were meant to do to shiny hunt. Never worked. Over a 15-year period, this is just what my life was. Unsurprisingly, I had a lot of dreams about catching shinies. I still do. For 15 years. Every week or so.

One day, I bought the remake of Pearl. My first game, where this all started. Without trying, no technique at all, a shiny geodude appeared.

And then my brain jettisoned out of reality. I don't catch shinies, that's what dream me does. So this is a dream. Clearly. I lost complete concept that reality was real, and only had an idea of me as a vague concept, like I myself was also a dream. If I try to recall the memory it's in a literal 3rd person camera angle. I can't actually draw the original memory.

All over a shiny geodude.

My friend always said that my dog looked perpetually sad, just absolutely miserable. But Krystal was such a happy dog that I could never see it. My mum posted an old photo of them on Facebook. And yeah. I see it now.

Was telling my brother about my friend's ex and about his bizarrely bent dick. Bent that way, mind you, because he bent it sideways to touch himself. Miscalculated slightly because I forgot that most people I've told this story to don't have dicks themselves. Completely broke him. In his professional dick haver opinion, he's concerned that this man has permanently bent his blood vessels and that this could literally kill him one day.

Considering he's mostly remembered as an infamous meme among my friend group, this really is an appropriate way to go out.
