As we celebrate Yoongi's birthday, let's come together to celebrate it in a meaningful way. This year, OIAA organized a special birthday campaign with the Palestine Trauma Centre, and we'd love for you to join us!

The Palestine Trauma Centre provides essential mental health support to those affected by the ongoing challenges in Palestine.

Just October 9th, 2023, an explosion rocked the area near the Palestine Trauma Centre (UK) clinic in Nuseirat. The blast severely damaged nearby buildings, shattering clinic windows and collapsing its roof and walls. As a result, the clinic, which offers crucial mental health support to Gaza's children and citizens, was left unstable and unfit for use.

Palestine Trauma Centre urgently needs help in raising the funds to allow them to open a new clinic. With Yoongi's compassionate spirit in mind, we're rallying together to make a difference in the lives of those who need it most. We can help raise funds for it and they can begin to provide much-needed mental health support and we can contribute to healing and resilience in the community.

A reminder, many Palestinians have said that donations are not useful at this moment. The best form of help is speaking to representatives, protesting & other direct action.

The organizations in this 1st wave were chosen because they provided transparency on whether they've been able to provide aid since Oct 7 and updates on what is happening on the ground.

The OIAA crisis team is focused on finding best ways to help in Palestine, and here's an update for ARMY. While we may not always post about a crisis occurring, we are working behind the scenes to offer you information and resources.

As the process for civic action can vary, we ask ARMY to share resources for advocacy below. This can include how to contact govt officials, active petitions, upcoming events/protests, plus resources for knowing your rights & legal support for activists who have been silenced.
