kaladin (not only names his weapons but makes them tiny graves when they break in battle): yeah....haha.....so silly.....

adolin: it is not my right to name this beautiful and ancient blade. I shall only call her by her name once she deems me worthy enough to tell me.

shallan: so you're waiting.....for the weapon.....that doesn't have a mouth....to *tell* you its name.....

adolin: *her* name

kaladin (hasn't picked up his new spear yet because he is still in the mourning period for his last one): what the fuck dude

"Reborn"

🚨SPOILERS OF STORMLIGHT 4🚨

Painting this has meant to me something similar to what this moment meant to Kal. I've been in an art block for several weeks now, but this painting has awaken my joy of painting back a little, so I hope you love and appreciate it!

I remember reading this moment with tears in my eyes, almost unable to see the words on the pages. What an incredibly touching moment it was to see Kal swearing his 4th Ideal and saving his father!

I hope you enjoy my art as much as I did painting it!

I think we could argue our way into a bingo with

1. Child of God (in a metaphorical sense)

2. Protects the people from demonic harm (well he’s fighting Autonomy and her “Faceless Immortals” who can apparently possess people and have glowing red eyes, per the Book of Mourning epilogue)

3. Followers await his return (I think this is just canon)

This funny guy made becoming the messiah a whole project for himself. Can't believe a fortnite character would do something like that.

Dustbringer by Steve Argyle

Steve Argyle: Thanks everyone! This was a really fun piece to do. It started as one of my concept sketches for the Dustbringer reward for the WoK Kickstarter. While it wouldn't have worked for that, I liked it so much that I mounted the drawing to a board, oil painted it, and gave it to Isaac Stewart, one of my personal heroes. I love doing Stormlight artwork, so you'll be seeing more of these!

on one hand. I would pass away if there was ever a stormlight archive screen adaptation. on the other hand. if my blorbos don't look how I imagine them in my brain I will riot.

Another day, another Les-has-finished-mistborn post, today I'll be talking about Marasi :). Again, SPOILER ALERT for mistborn era 2 and The lost metal.

One of the coolest things of this book was all the Cosmere references, and Marasi's interactions with the ghostbloods were the ones that showed a bit more information. I love Marasi's character a lot, specially her constant search for information and her desire to make the world a better place, and that's the main reason why I knew she wouldn't join the organisation. Still, I think she'd make a great worldhopper, maybe just by herself, discovering all the secrets in the cosmere. Who knows? Maybe we'll see her in future books.

Her relationship with Allik was wonderfull, they were so cute together. He's a very sweet boy, and a great person as well. They're both so lovely, it's hard not to like them.

I was surprised when I read that she wanted to become the governor of Elendel, but it actually makes so much sense. I'm sure she'll be great at listening to the people and doing what's best for them.

I really enjoyed seeing her grow more confident as time passed by, both arround Wax and Wayne, whith her work, and as an individual. She's one of my favourite Cosmere characters for sure.

Going feral over the fact that Kaladin's name literally means "born into the eternal". Kalad = eternal, din = born into. Same way Adolin is "born into light" adoda = light, din = born into. Bro

And my question was, are Truthwatchers able to use aspects of the Progression and Lightweaving surge to have someone or something become a different version of itself?
