I don't think we're quite there yet and it'd need a lot of work to get the system reliability up, but for people who make a lot of short, simple posts and don't discourse excessively, it really feels like we're within striking distance of someone reclusive who expects to die soon training an AI to simulate them and just setting it up to post automatically so that nobody finds out they died until way later and no one can ever tell excactly when it switched over.

This is an extremely good bit, it would make people very retrospectively uncomfortable in the coolest possible way. I don't think it's worth dying just to do it, but if all the other requirements line up and you're expecting to die soon anyway (in an uncorrelated fashion, i.e. no apocalypses), have a look at whether it sounds right for you

I'm sure if we really tried we could come up with a video game walkthrough format that's even less convenient than unannotated nine-hour YouTube videos of someone playing the game badly. I enjoy when writers do porn AUs where their kink is universal, then throw in some random additional element that could be an AU premise all on its own, but the text does not connect the two. Like, yeah, this is an AU where everyone is an exhibitionist, and also dragons are real. These facts are unrelated.
