Greta and Eevee's evolved form, Toxeon, who is being carried around by the macaw, have just encountered a dragon. Let's hope they're friendly, because if they're not, then Greta will fly away fast with Toxeon until they're eventually far away from it and out of its sight. After all, it's dangerous for the two of them to be around a giant dragon that has a chance of harming both of them.

This is Toon OptimisticKoala, but she would rather be called either Ellie or Optik, whichever one's fine. She's the leader of a group of Toon Smiling Critters that were rejected by Playtime Co. and were never seen or heard of by the public, known as the 'Rejected Toon Critters'.

Optik was drawn and brought to life as part of an idea that the production crew had when they wanted the new episode of the Smiling Critters cartoon to be an homage to the black and white cartoons of the old days, and she was going to be introduced to the viewers as a new Smiling Critter. The who who drew the koala had an idea that her not having a neck or arms would make Optik look a bit more interesting to the audience.

Unfortunately, Playtime Co. had shut down production of the episode before they started creating the other characters, and had the show continue off with what they were originally doing. It seems that they had decided to scrap the idea rather than have their production team waste time designing black and white versions of the Smiling Critters that are just only going to be used for one episode. The koala ended up living/hiding out somewhere in a part of the factory where she made her own home where no one can find or disturb her, which later became a home for the entire group, but the koala does leave her home to visit the Toon Smiling Critters and the other rejected toons who didn't join her group, and obtain some supplies sometimes.

Optik loves to bring laughter and optimism to everyone in order to cheer them up. She can climb through the vents, and even knows the layout, thus she can get to where wherever she needs to be. The koala can also expel a blue gas that is similar to Catnap's illusion gas as whoever breathes it in will temporarily see the world and everything in it as a cartoon, including their own reflection as well.

While toons are somewhat unaffected by the gas, it's unknown what would happen to a non-toon if they were exposed to too much of it over constant, long periods of time. Bubba theorized that the individual would be stuck seeing the world as a cartoon for the rest of their lives, so Optik avoids something like that from happening by preventing others from having constant exposure to it.

In the second drawing, Optik is giving Yadgod a present as a birthday gift for the day he was created. I wonder what she gave him for his birthday?

I commissioned @crazycakeparrotart to draw the second drawing, while the first one is the reference they drew of Toon Optik in order to draw my commission. The Toon Logic AU and Yadgod both belong to @ccycloneblogging.

In the "Contacted Demons AU" there are Critters who live in the Demon World known as "Demonic Critters". They're beings of mischief, darkness, etc., but are willing to make contracts with those who summon them, but they have to be paid for the equal price based on the contractor's wish.

As for Angel Optik of the "Angel Critters AU", she is the Angel of Optimism and is known by her friends to be optimistic about things whenever she wants to be. Optik likes to spread around optimism to others and go on flights, and she'll even get others to chase her around in a game of tag, which is pretty fun to her, and then she'll take them by surprise with a hug.

The troublesome twin sibling duo of the Rejected Critters, Pinko and Blorbo Bearfrost. They're the fourth and fifth ones to join the group.

Plinko Bearfrost (Xe/Xem) is the strong one of the twins. Xe loves to work out at the gym and will try to get others to work out as well, but will only recommend it as xe knows that critters will work out at their own time and pace. Plinko is actually nice and kind with a heart of gold, and is only mean and violent whenever someone is mean and messes with xem, or even xis little sibling or friends. Xe also loves a good prank or two, and will even work together with Blorbo to mess with critters by pretending to be each other, which always worked. Plinko works odd jobs that involve lifting and carrying stuff around, like at construction sites, moving trucks, shipping factories, etc. To xem, it's like a good workout.

Blorbo Bearfrost (Ze/Zim) is the fashionable one of the two. Ze just loves to create and try out different outfits that ze made, and would show it off to the others of the Rejected Critters just to see what they all think about it. Blorbo is even willing to make outfits for other critters too whenever ze feels like it. The polar bear, just like Plinko, is also kind and nice too, but as a word of warning, don't push zim around as even ze has a breaking point, and it isn't pretty. Blorbo works at a fashion department company as part of a group of trainee fashion designers that works for some big name fashion designer. Ze is willing to work there despite sometimes being put down, humiliated, and yelled at by that critter just to make lots of money in order to help Plinko pay the bills around the house, but also to use some of the money to buy stuff like food, books, games, etc.

This is Greta of the Rejected Critters, a Scarlet Macaw, and is actually the first one to become Optik's friend on the day that the koala had moved into the neighborhood. She was born mute, so the macaw communicates through a number of different ways like sign language, writing, and even text to speech. She's also technically the first one to join the Rejected Critters before the group even became to be.

Greta works at her own business as a fortune teller, and she loves to give guidance to others through her fortune telling in order to put them on the right path by reading their fortunes through her crystal ball. Her dream is to travel to other parts of the world, but she stays home and in town instead as she just doesn't want to leave her group of friends behind. Maybe one day, she'll travel the world, but for now, she's happy hanging out with her friends.

There are times when Lula needs to cry as she has a lot of past trauma that still haunts her to this day. It's nice of EroBear to give Lula a hug. Though, is anyone else getting a bad feeling from her words?

I really like the video. Both the animation and the music was perfect. I also like how a lot of people's Smiling Critters' OCs are in the video too. ^^👍

Allison has come a really long way since her past as an experiment. She now has tons of friends who'll be there by her side to support and help her no matter what.

This is the AfterJoy AU version of OptimisticKoala. Optik is wearing a black goth outfit, while the blue one in the other drawing is a different colored version. In her universe, Optik had died after [ERROR; DATA NOT FOUND] and found herself there.

In both drawings, with the koala are her Soul Minis: Misti (top), Dove (left), Rae (bottom left), Joye (middle), and Clove (right), who are all wearing their own star goggles. Optik can easily tell them apart thanks to the stickers she had placed on the back of each of their goggles' straps. Also, even without the googles, she can tell them apart by their personalities or habits.

Misti (Shooting Star): Likes to climb up on top of things, but if too high up to even climb back down, ends up scared and calls for Optik's help. Dove (Cloud): Stares off into space sometimes, and will playfully attack whoever was the one that snapped them out of it. Rae (named after Optik's friend, Greta; Flower): Guides the other Minis in order to keep them out of trouble. Joye (Sun): A positive, ball of sunshine. Anise (Dog): Mischievous, and likes to mess with Rae. Also, likes the smell of Star Anise.

I commissioned @crazycakeparrotart to make this. They did an awesome job on it. ^^👍

Lula is a traumatized Swap AU Allison version of OptimisticKoala. In the AU where she's from, Lula is an artist who would go around, creating cheerful paintings full of hope and giving them to Critters who are sad and need cheering up. She was also born lucky as lots of good things have happened to her, like getting a free ice cream, winning prizes, finding a four leaf clover, etc.

While it does sound like a good life, there's a part of her life, her past, that didn't feel lucky to her, and it's something that Lula never told anyone, except her police officer aunt, about. She's been traumatized a lot by events that had happened during her life while growing up, she was abused by her adoptive parent before they were eventually arrested. The traumatic events, plus the abuse from her parent had caused her to end up with some mental conditions, including having some nightmares about the past, which wakes her up and messes with her sleep schedule.

Lula would always have a fake smile on her face whenever she was with friends as to not make them worried about her. And speaking of friends, it does get hard for anyone to become friends with her in the beginning thanks to her trust issues, which Lula had to disguise by saying that 'it's better to get to know a Critter first before becoming friends with them'. Even then, she has a hard time trusting her friends sometimes, especially when she tries to. Her scent is Pomelo.

As for Cheer Paint, she was born a normal Critter, who while growing up, had some traumatic events happen to her, but only ended up a little traumatized, and she also has loving parents too. Cheer Paint is an artist who loves to cheer others up by painting something before telling the Critter a cheerful story involving the image in the painting itself as 'every painting has a story in it'. She's a friend of Lula, and has tried hard to cheer her up with the paintings and their stories, but even if Lula fakes being cheered up by her, Cheer Paint could tell that she wasn't. Her goal is to cheer Lula up with her story paintings no matter what, but only if her friend is okay with the being told stories. Her scent is Cotton Candy.

This is the logo for my group of Smiling Critters OCs, the "Rejected Critters".

In the Smiling Critters' universes, they're a group of Critters who were each rejected for a specific reason by others, except their friends and family. When they all met and became friends, and even learned about each other's circumstance, they decided to form a group with Optik leading them. Now, they all have each other's back, and love to play and have fun. Though, the group's life and personalities sometimes depend on the universe they're in.

However, in the Poppy's Playtime universes, they're a group of humans that consists of a child orphan, a teenage orphan, and some employees of the factory who, at some point in each of their lives, were all experimented on and turned into Smiling Critters for the Bigger Bodies Initiative. Each one was then rejected by Playtime Co. because of something wrong with them. Optik, who ran away and hid to avoid being scrapped or destroyed, later met and rescued the others to have them avoid the same fate. The group of Critters decided to stick together to survive, and continued to even after when the Hour of Joy happened. So, they formed the "Rejected Critters" with Optik as the leader.
