So here’s my strawberry backpack! I wanted the outside to be pretty thick so I used 2 strands of yarn at the same time. Usually when I do this, I use two different colors but I decided that I’d go with the same color on this one. This is my third bag that I’ve made. I’ll eventually post the pattern I made for both the leaves and the strawberry itself. It’s currently filled with all of my projects that I haven’t gotten around to finishing. I have a couple of problems with it though. Obviously because it’s made of yarn, it doesn’t hold its shape very well. If you fill it with unusual shapes, it’ll get all lumpy. Secondly, its shape isn’t ideal for books and binders. You’re not going to wear this to school. I’m cool with that because I like having a bag to carry my yarn in when it’s too hot for a jacket with enough pocket space to hold a ball of yarn. I do that a lot by the way. Thirdly, I gone goofed with the straps. I made them way too small and I’m too lazy to restart from scratch on the straps so this is more of a child size backpack. I might give it to one of my younger cousins.

This is my rainbow infinity scarf. I found a thing about a color kaleidoscope blanket and knew that I had to do it with some of my yarn that changes colors. I had some rainbow yarn from a scrapped project so I decided that it would look good paired with black. I crocheted until I ran out of one of the yarns (this case the black). It’s roughly 200 stitches per round and almost 9 rounds (I ran out of yarn about 10 stitches from the end of the 9th round). To make it, alternate between single and double stitches using two balls of yarn. Make sure once you get to the second round, you’re make single stitches on the double stitches and double stitches.

Hey just so y’all know, I’m not dead. I’m very much alive but I haven’t posted in a while because I’ve been swamped. Between college classes, minor health scares, and having a job, I haven’t found the time to post much of anything. But I’m back and I have these three projects that I’m really excited to share plus some more!

So I made a pink cowl. It’s a lavender kisses cowl by Tamera Kelly. (Yes I know that it’s pink and not lavender) It’s a little small on me because a) the pattern is for a woman and I’m a guy with a giant head who didn’t think about size and b) I’m perfectly fine giving it to one of my family members.

My mom found some of these cute plants in a store last week and has been making a ton of them in her free time. She now buys these plants so she can make these out of them

So I decided to do the temperature calendar thing. I decided that I wanted to do one for each day instead of a week to show how erratic Virginian weather from day to day (it literally dropped 50 degrees in 2 days!). The part that expands and contracts is the daily high, and the thin strip that just goes with the flow is the daily low. I’m behind, so this is the first 21 days of 2018.

So I got these new safety eyes that I wanted to use for one of my projects (sorry I haven’t posted any new ones by the way), but the cap was so loose that they were way too easy to come off. To fix that, I used a glue gun to fill the cap and make it tighter. It can still wiggle a little bit, but it’s in a much better situation than it was before.

Ok so I learned how to make a crochet bobble (those little bumps), and decided to make a scarf with braille written on it. For those who can’t read braille, the scarf currently says “it’s in braille”. The problem is, I’ve run out of words to say and the scarf is only a foot long. Should I put more words on it or just switch up the colors and have the same sentence repeat itself?
Also one of my friends asked what it said and he didn’t get the joke until well after the third time saying it.

This is a Pip-Boy! I managed to crochet it in a couple of days. (I don't have much free time during the school year so that's pretty quick). The screen is my phone and it stays in pretty well. The proportions are a little off so I'm going to make another.

It looks great dude!

#116 Horsea
This was kind of requested by @origamiartist2. I really liked how simple Horsea was to make! It’s just a little blue seahorse 💙

This is my watermelon basket! I really like how it came out! It has similar purpose to my watermelon hammock, but it looks more like a basket than a mini hammock. I finished this after we harvested our watermelons. Whoops. I guess we’ll use them next year then.
What was originally a way to help me keep track of how long I was making the sides, became those little leaves! I’d explain it, but the Tumblr app has deleted this post twice now, so this would be the third time that I’d have to type all this out. Yeah that’s too many times.

So this one will be one of my more controversial, but funnier posts. This is a surskit. Surskits are pokemon who are known for walking and skating on water. Well I thought it'd be funny to name him Jesus. God seemed to agree because at my first convention, I lost him. I looked everywhere for him, until I found out that one of my Christian friends found Jesus. She gave him back the next time she saw me. After a while I started to carry around Jesus until I accidentally left him in my government class. The next day, my teacher just said "hey you forgot this" and tossed him to me. So again a Christian woman found Jesus and returned him to me. But I have never been able to find Jesus once he is lost. I've lost him so many times I stuck a note with my contact info in him. Anyway, he also doubles as a flash drive holder, just like Horsea. I used him as such for a while, until I got tired of losing him.

This is Hindenburg(as in the Hindenburg disaster)! He's a drifloon. Which is another Pokémon. I'm really proud of how he turned out.

TBH I didn't know what a bulette was before seeing this post, but I fucking love how this looks

CR challenge week 4 - Magma Bulette from ep.107
Man, bulettes are hard creatures to create in crochet form. This is the first week I wish I had more time to spend on the design. I actually didn’t think I’d get something done before the next full episode aired.
I’d really like to do this creature over, making it way bigger with more detail. Definitely needs teeth and some major ass digging claws :P
Though I did manage to try something new with the body design here, which I’m hoping to work into a couple other projects.
