She's great in most of what I've read with her. I unfortunately haven't gotten around to reading her solos but I want to (well... there's some runs I'm dreading but will probably read anyways).

only reason she isn't higher is due to a few writers and some fans' reactions to a certain other character... the second thing wouldn't bug me as much if the first thing didn't exist...

also she's the batman rogue with the most backstories I'm pretty sure. she's got like 4-5 of them.

I think you should read webcomics but I also think you should challenge yourself about it, go find that odd creation that's out there because one horny lady once thought it was cool or a dude was giving his first shot at a story and it came all wrong or they tried to do it traditional and their only medium was pencil and printer paper. Maybe if you like reading romance on webtoons you can go look at comic fury and see someone's nightmare of a comic or maybe you like sci-fi and there's someone on tapas drawing the sexiest priest ever who will finally not bore you. Maybe all you've read are Hiveworks webcomics when The Duck comics are right there and maybe that comic that's using only 3D assets that turned you off at first really has the most compelling writing you'll see this year. It's easy to say "read more webcomics" and give you the same three suggestions or collectives over and over. The net is vast and infinite and so is the array of human creation.

Maybe start with a random one. And then keep jumping

my brother recommends it. I've played dragon quest 1-2 so I'll be able to tell when it's playing with tropes introduced in those games.

I've also read other people recommending it

Digimon Data Squad (is that what it was called? In America at least?)

Peak digimon series. I love character foils/parallels and Data Squad/Savers has SO MUCH

Masaru and Touma, Masaru and his dad, basically everyone is a foil to Masaru or is a parallel to one of his relationships (like the differences in how Touma's family is and how Masaru's family is, one of the one-off issues has some stuff going on with his dad - Masaru's dad is very important into how Masaru acts)

like yeah the punching digimon is great, but it's one of my favorite digimon series because of the actual writing.

Also Kurata is one of my favorite digimon villains, absolutely despicable human.

John Henry Irons

out of the 90s solo superfam trio, he's the one I've read the least of. However john henry references are always great. His suit and hammer seem pretty cool too. I really should read his solo...

also I think Christopher priest's steel run bases him off of dwayne mcduffie (interesting to note that the hardware steel crossover was before this, but iirc they brought up similarities between the two of them there)

So. That new Spy x Family chapter was pretty good. I always love seeing more lore about the series, and the Henry/Martha romance was just oh-so-good. So good that I have been compelled to draw them. This here is them "Making up for lost time." Enjoy!
