I apologize for my absence, I would have sworn I had said goodbye! Oh well, I am back now, so hopefully I didn’t make anyone worry. I had a marvelous trip, visiting some old friends on the sea <3

i saw the most mesmerizing fae today, though only from a distance. beautiful feathers, and the way they moved…

i hope I am able to see this being again, and perhaps converse. but oh! what if I do not appear as beautiful to them as they do to me? perhaps I should shine my wings, they have looked a bit drab lately.

my poor head is aching and i feel as if i could hole up in my nest and never leave.. but i must thank you for visiting me yesterday. i appreciated your cooling dew and sweet company!

i’m afraid i was in no condition to play host. i hope i wasn’t too foolish and clingy. i remember giggling and dancing like a child… and falling like a child too. i also remember my mouth being as dry as an old robin’s nest when all her children have flown, so the crystal clear water you brought was a blessing. thank you. oughhh.

you’ll visit again soon, i hope, and let me make it up? we can have stew and tea and perhaps you’ll bring one of your beautiful pies….
