Sonic character head ref sheets!!

inspired by @tsaikonautz's head sheets, I made my own sheets, this time with more characters and with far more angles for artists to use! with a 15 x 15 array (225 heads) front & back, thats 450 head angles!

please refer to the bottom of the post for the links to the full-resolution images, as tumblr compression only allows images up to 2048px wide, and these were rendered at 4k ^^ (this post is Part 1, I'll be releasing additional ones with other characters. next part will include the Chaotix, Babylon Rogues (especially since Ive ripped the Free Riders models), and Metal Sonic)

he was fun to draw, and i think i will be drawing him more often! during the process, my brain got confused cause i struggle with perspective, so now i NEED to do art studies ;-;

i gonna try doing digital art eventually, even though all i have is my finger + ibisX and a dream

i actually had so much fun doing this, and i’m really happy with how it turned out despite my minor mistakes. i love pose practice🫶🏽

Hello :)

not new on tumblr or anything, but i just started this blog bc i wanted to share some stuff. i’ve been hyperfixated on Sonic, and it made me want to pick up drawing. for the last 5 months that i’ve been drawing, Seren came to me after i took a dive into the OC side of the sth fandom. he’s only got a little bit of lore rn, but i love him dearly <3

Some fun facts about him:

- his name means “Star”, Shadow named him

- he controls light/sun rays

- he’s not as fast as Sonic, but is faster than Shadow

- Robotnik made him in a test tube by combining Sonic’s and Shadow’s DNA (he’s a weapon), and he was called “Solar Sonic”

- he’s got an RBF

- “it’s Son—Shad—huh?”, he get’s pretty salty about how he gets mixed up with his dads, even though they’re all different colors

- can make mini-supernovas

- even though his powers are pretty strong, he’s got basically full control over them

- has a “Solar” form instead of a super form (it works differently too)

- he’ll make a full scale supernova if he touches the emeralds, so he never gets to be near them

- eldest child
