What does Charlie and Glinda love about each other?

I think about this question a lot tbh. They are my most loved characters, the ones who gave me love for drawing back. So I have to think properly.

I could say about little sweet things. I can't say too much about her as she was always played by DMs. I can't ask her first DM, and current one.. not sure I want to know what he thinks about love in general. Not like it's something bad, I just want some points of view to stay unknown. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First, here is a scene from the game

They were sitting in the kitchen, and he, distracted from cooking, said to her:

“My love, do you remember that I grew up in a small town by the sea?” “Yes, yes, and what about it?” she asked, lazily stirring her coffee. “I love the sea with all my heart. She is an incredible, powerful element, endlessly beautiful, endlessly free. The sea gives life, and the sea takes it away. You are my sea, Glinda. And by your side, I am home, and my heart is at peace.”

I think, in a global sense, Glinda loves Charlie because she knows that he is ready to destroy this world for her. She has seen it, and she is one of the few who remembers. Now the world is safe, and he always tries to balance between the world of vampires, humans, and fae in such a way as to minimize deaths and murders (though he does not expect to avoid them entirely). But she knows — he is endlessly devoted to her, and in this world there is and never will be anyone more beautiful to him.

I won’t over-romanticize — after all, he is a Malkavian, old and not all that kind, and she is the ruler of House Balor, one of the cruelest and most terrifying houses, kin to living nightmares. And in his love, he willingly and with sincere joy adapted to her needs. He will go on any mission she gives him, be it a suicidal journey into the Dreaming or the retrieval of strange and difficult ingredients for her sorcery. He will be her loyal hound until death (though, death will not come — she has forbidden him to die!). And she, it seems, has a weakness for chubby ones — and he cooks so wonderfully! He is even happy when she draws glamour from him. After so many years of feeding off others, he can finally give something back… And just to be said, he was literally a knight who saved her from a Dragon's prison.

As for him… A long time ago, he killed himself, unable to escape his own feelings. But he kept pushing all those feelings deeper and deeper, for decades, for centuries, until he came to the edge and realized that the feelings had nearly left him. And without feelings, comes true death. Honestly, I even considered how he would walk out into the sun. But he, a vampire, the embodiment of stillness and death, met her. A fae — the pure embodiment of emotion and life. He looked into her soul and saw her there, in blood, in endless battle. He learned her story — how, for the sake of her people, she was ready to destroy half the world. For love, as he decided. He fell in love entirely, from the very first glance into her soul. And now she is his second chance, his hope to truly learn to live, to feel, to fight. And perhaps, for the first time in his vampiric un-life, he felt complete trust.

Needless to say, he also quickly came to love her tortures. To feel pain and trust the one who causes it, to know that they won’t harm you beyond the limit… And latex suits her so well! Ah... So in the end we have two wild, dangerous creatures in true love. She is the one who taught him how to live again. And he is her stability, her forever loyal knight.

Sometimes when I read characters look like "live action" in my mind's eye, and sometimes they appear more stylistic. In the book I'm reading now (Gifted and Talented) everyone looks like they're in your art style. Don't know if that's weird to admit but I thought I'd share

It's actually very cool to know that I have a style that people remember and picture things in it.. Dunno how to put it into words. Like I'm living outside of my mind and body. It brings me so much joy to know my work is remembered.. Thank you kindly <3

Last couple of weeks I could barely draw. I still draw my OC's, very slowly. But I could not properly draw commissions T_T It seems like there is different pool of energy for the OCs ( but I can't get satisfied with the result anyway). It will pass, the art blocks and sadness always pass. But I don't know when. So I'll be grateful if you donate ne something on my hipolink Even a dollar goes to my food, cat food, bills and stuff anyway, for now, please have a wip.

So I like to imagine , he watched, counting steps, thinking of what he can do if everything goes wrong. But she was perfect.
