and the night started out perfectly— the sweet buttery smell of popcorn filled the room, the television screen set to his favorite horror flick and a companion who was sitting at the opposite side of the couch. “why are you sitting over at the far end, ema?” he asked, moving and shifting closer, slowly but cautiously, making sure to give her enough time to protest once she didn’t like the idea of them being so close to each other in the darkness that wrapped the rapper’s living room. “pretty sure you’re going to need me once the movie starts..” he teased yet stated meaningfully at the same time, thinking and believing that she’s just like any other girl, wanting to bury their heads and seek for protection once the horror starts.

“Fuck yeah!” Grins and wraps an arm around their neck. “So what’s up?” 

 feeling the other’s arm around him, a smile alights his lips, eyes turning to crescents upon excitement. “oh nothing, really. y’know, just hella hyped up now that i’m hanging with the coolest maknae out there.”

"yeah, i know the truth, hyung.” he stated smugly, the older’s avoidance and quick change of topic further fueling his guess. “please, kwon jiyong, just admit that i’m the hot one here.”

"dude, chill. i told you to come down here a sec and relax. music can’t be rushed, take a break huh?”

heedless and pretending to be deaf of her protest, jihoon ignored the her words, taking quick double steps.   "it’s your fault for being so small, making it so easy to  carry you around wherever i want to. now, we’re almost there.”

“but i don’t do things your way.” caroline, quickly,  retorted and then gave a groan. “i know i lost, but  that doesn’t mean you can throw me over your  shoulder like it’s no big deal. ”

ah, i’m hurt, i’m not recognized.. { ‘he sighed, playing the part of an offended idol for a good minute before bursting into a huge grin, his smile reaching his eyes that had then turned to crescents. } just kidding.. call me jihoon or jin.. i’m from osirirs. chanmi, right? { ‘he asked before humming and even going as far to mimicing aoa’s like a cat choreography. }

`she smiles at the male as she lets out a small laugh; ah am I really? Ah I’m sorry I didn’t get your name? `she tilts her head as she looks at him; though your face is familiar...

"at least you know my coffee..” he stated in a rather light tone, evidently teasing the male as to elate the situation, knowing that the other male might had been feeling guilty for the mix-up, for he would be if he was the one that got the wrong cup. “but i’m not in the mood for americano any longer, may i have an iced caramel macchiato instead? i’m craving for something sweet for some reason.“

His gaze flicked down to the coffee cup in his hand again before putting it down on the table in front of him. He felt horribly guilty that he wasn’t even paying attention when the barista said the name that was written on the cup. Clearly she didn’t say “Yunhyeong” when she read it off now that realized it. How tired was he? “I’ll buy you one right now. What would you like? It tastes like… an Americano with just sugar?”

though considered the wiser, more experienced and matured one between the two, the younger had undeniably been acting the comforter, a tiny frame that allowed him to lean his weight on her throughout their encounters the past years they’ve happened to share the same space together, and he had always been grateful to the young trainee, seeing her more than just a friend but another sister that he adores. sure, it was evident how they’ve gotten along, considering their almost mirrored personalities, but jihoon didn’t allow someone from the opposite sex to come this close to his walls, that he almost told her about his tragic past story. “but.. won’t my siberian plush just bite your duckie plush?” he asked in wonder, like a child truly curious for an answer. the rapper’s ears perked at the offered thought, visibly excited as he nodded in answer. “when it comes to snack, you can always count on me! but.. should we go to the grocery mart first to stack up on supplies?”  

The moment he joined her company down on the floor she turned to face him, and a moment afterwards slowly slumped down on the ground, a low ‘whooooop’ falling past her lips during the actions. It was just her method of getting comfortable, which was the whole point since this little world she devised was meant to make himself comfortable as well, and hopefully evade any fear of heights he had built up. The real reason to his fear was unknown to her, and she decided it was best not to bring it up or question anything unless he decided to let her in on the details. “Siberian husky plush? Heck yes! I’ll even get my duckie plush, and they can hang out together. Become best buds and all that cool stuff.” She clicked her tongue at the thought, a subtle grin growing on her face. “Do you have gummy worms too? Let’s have a full-on snack fest."

jumbled words and cheeks with a dark tint of tomato red, now, what sight he’d want to leave by the girl he had always thought of impressing. while it was certainly not their first encounter, today would be their first personal and close meeting, or as jihoon would like to think, his first chance to be noticed, a chance to stand out from the rest of the ones whom had been surrounding the idol most of the time that he never had the luck to even exchange a few words with her, and he had to fail terribly at this given chance. but pyo jihoon did stand out for sure, just for the wrong reason.  still gushing over his past action, he can’t seem to lift his head up and meet the gaze of the female, far too embarrassed to meet her eyes, even with her comforting words. “ah, was it really a sweet gesture?” he wondered himself, unknowingly speaking his mind loud enough for the idol to hear. “if i was the one who received the sudden hug, i would be creeped out and think that the one who did that was a perv— i mean..” his mindless talking had been put to a halt upon coming to a realization that he was not doing any good to his current situation. “mm, i understand! i promise not to surprise you again!” he answered promptly instead, even holding his right hand out as a symbol of his guarantee to his promise, finally tilting his chin high enough to make his trademark childlike grin visible.

Yoona’s heart was still pounding loudly inside her chest, so she instinctively placed her hand over it, still trying to catch her breath. It took her a while until she was able to properly speak up again, and she used this time to muster the other. She knew him, even though she didn’t know him well, but it was enough to not be creeped out by his sudden actions. Looking at him, she actually found herself torn between a mix of amusement and pity. It was obvious that the male was flustered by his own acts and felt sorry and embarrassed, which she hadn’t even intend to cause. The idol had merely reacted, but now she couldn’t just let him continue feeling like this.

“It was rather surprising.” She started off, humming softly. Yoona made sure to put a smile on her face so the idol would not be even more flustered, and after carefully thinking about her next words, she continued. “But it was a sweet gesture, right? These days are cold and nothing warms you better than cuddles…it is actually somehow flattering that you wanted to do this so spontaneously. Don’t worry, okay? Just maybe announce your presence next time, so I don’t get this startled.”
