The light began to spread against the deep red of Hell’s sky, taking shape into something long and avian. Angel thought he saw a pair of glowing eyes peering down at him from that white void, a set of serrated teeth shaping into a half-moon smile. “Be not afraid,” a voice crackled down at them. It was scratchy and oddly musical, as though the owner of that voice was laughing. He’d never said dick to either Husk or Niffty about their next destination when questioned. All the answer either of them had received had been a secretive smile and Alastor promising them their prospects were looking to be very entertaining. ~*~ Or: An AU where Alastor is a travelling bard and Husk is his trusty squire.
