Hi Anon, good catch. We made a change to the form shortly after signups began and it looks like we didn't complete the change in the FAQ!

Basically those interested in signing up as a Beta Reader should head over to the discord server and select the Beta Reader role! We'll put together a proper Beta Reader Pool once the artist-writer assignments have been announced.

Yes! Of course, anyone is welcome. Just be sure you think you can write a story that's at least 1,000 words between June 1 and August 30!

Yes, traditional art is fine! That sounds very fun!

For the reverse mini bang, is there a required scope for the artwork?

Art pieces must at least have shading and/or flats (or similar level of completion), and fics must have at least 1,000 words.

Yo, I'm Fridurmus! I'm a fic author, part-time editor, and full-time internet relic. If you've heard of me, it's probably from Learning to Catch at the End of Everything or Old Feathers Among Young Pine Trees. I'm excited to be helping my friend awanderingmuse with running events in the fandom that got me writing seriously again!

I have been writing fic and participating in various fandom events for 15+ years now. I started this blog to create a fun community environment for all the incredibly talented fan artists and writers in this fandom. I am glad I decided to do it and am excited for our first mini bang!

CLOSING NOTES AND EVENT MUSEUM: PART 1

The mods want to thank everyone who participated in Campfire Fest. We had 36 participants and 136 submissions. That's over double the participation for last years Campfire Fest! It's also so many submissions that we surpassed Tumblr's link limit, meaning the Event Museum will have a Part 2 in this post.

Congratulations to @cactusjuic, @cosmicdandelidae, @craniumknight, @decks-writing-blog/ @deku-pipe-link (twice every day!) and @poisonhemloc for submitting something for every day of the fest week during fest! .
