guess whos been talking to @outsiderquill abt six flares again and thought up an AU of an AU of an AU where after the end of the Six Flares series sfRasbi grows up n grows old but then gets thrown back in time to before Six Flares happens

More abt the au below

atp our paradise is a thing of the past and sfRasbi has become a noted member of the community for surviving the inhumane conditions of the mazes, and was instrumental in taking down the government/facility/whatever that enforced these systems in the first place alongside the rest of the surviving cast post-our paradise

for whatever reason, but because i said so, she and sfMohwee, the only survivors of the og clearing end up back in the maze in the past, somewhere between the canon timeline and before Six Flares happens.

They're not able to change anything, the fates of their siblings are set in stone, but perhaps now, even if they're old and have long since accepted their misfortunes and moved past them, they get to have a moment of closure and truly say the things they wanted to say to the ones they lost to the flare before whatever forces punted them back in time reverse and they're sent to the future they know.

Hi so what if WOF had sports..

ICEWING HOCKEY!!

Concept art of thee talon blades, then some art of the full gear! they have leg guards, chest guards, and helmets

They use their tails to hit the puck across ice, and the can shield themselves with their wings or armor if the puck goes airborne

They are not allowed to fly or use their frostbreath, and all four talons have blades to ensure they dont grab other players

The whole point of hockey was originally to train soldiers to use their tail to strike others more, and to train their running muscles in case their wings are bound or in case they cannot use their frostbreath, but it has evolved into a sport for fun!

there’s this one fic that i’ve been meaning to read for a while, but the one in the series before that literally made me sob so like. i’m not sure if i’m emotionally prepared to read it

I honestly didn't want this blog to become only about shouting out fanfics, because that already exists, but I figure there's no harm in doing it, and I really love this one, so here's the pitch.

I hope this fanfic is already very popular, and I hope you all have already read it, but just in case you haven't, this fitpac/bagina rock au fucking rocks. Every character is so well written, both taking aspects of their original personalities and modernizing other aspects of their lore, but what comes out is genuinely one of the best characters I've read in a long time, everyone is so compelling, so deep and angsty that you'll feel like squeezing them and protecting them from all evil.

In a bit of a self indulgent rant this version of bagina is one of my favorites, they're so cute and so supportive of each other... Bagi's devoutness and Tina being a ray of sunshine, even while she's holding the weight of the world under her shoulders... they make me feel ill.

And if you like fitpac they're also there I guess ( I merely jest, they're also very well written characters and I love their relationship)

So I guess that's it, give it a chance if you haven't read it yet, currently there's ten chapters , there may or may not be more, but even if it ends there it's already a fantastic series that deserves your attention. Please give some love to the writer, they're amazing.
