I wish we lived in a world where all of the SFM models and renders of Space Ranger being out already was JUST because people are passionate fans and excited for her character and not because they want to Make Pr*n. The contrast of fan made material and renders for her already vs Venture is already an example. If Venture wasn’t they/them and went by female pronouns no doubt they’d have so much more of THAT kind of content with them.

That said - thank you to all the people who ARE making fun memes with her in there and rigging her model so they can make silly videos and have fun.

Venture being non-binary because they just feel like it works for them is valid, exceptional - no notes.

But I also like to think that on top of it, they just have seen so much history unearthed where beautiful customs were performed, and modern gender roles just didn’t fit what the person performing them was. Where certain cultures may not have had such say or care in specific gender but the magic of the person themselves.

Especially with seeing omnic history being developed - a whole group of beings now exist that literally cannot have a “determined sex or gender.” And how they have beautiful discoveries of their own, and how gender truly does not need to be conformed to so one may embrace it one way or another.

So yeah, I like to think Venture has both the “they/them just felt right” and also a little bit of history in their sense of self
