Do you still take request? Because I'm in love with your style and I wanted to ask you some Mitsuri x Rengoku headcanon (+Iguro that finds out about it) Thank you ♡

Honestly speaking, I was surprised to get this request! You’re a lucky one, anon, I’m okay with writing headcanons for them (plus a little something under the cut ;D)

Mitsuri would be surprised that Rengoku has any feelings for her, really. As his former mentor, he got to see all of Mitsuri stupid mistakes as she grew as a demon slayer, which is something she tries not to think too hard on before the embarrassment kills her.

Rengoku confidently says that she likes Mitsuri exactly because he saw all that. She never gave up and worked her way to the top, her fighting spirit is something Rengoku admires and is drawn to.

Rengoku once insisted on staying in the battlefield, while Mitsuri judged it was best for them to retreat. Seeing as Rengoku wouldn’t budge, she just lifted him and carried him away (though not without apologizing). To this day, Rengoku loves being carried by her.

Rengoku has a good 10cm on Mitsuri, so they often do this thing where Rengoku kisses her forehead, and Mitsuri kisses his jaw.

Mitsuri likes to lightly pull on the hair that frames Rengoku’s face, or when they have the time, to carefully braid his hair. (Rengoku always falls asleep when she does that)

The good thing about these two is that they’re straightforward and sincere, so if something’s wrong, they tend to just say it, instead of brooding over the negative feelings. It’s a big part of why they work so well together.

Whenever they sleep on the same bed, it starts out with the two of them hugging each other, but ends with Mitsuri’s foot on Rengoku’s stomach, and Rengoku’s arm on her face. (they’re both half off the futon)
