Civilization coin fails after about 12 hours, a new record?

Civilization coin is a Cryptocurrency that launched roughly 12 hours ago. A small community developed around it, and there were a half dozen mining pools to choose from. The setup of Civilization coin seemed promising, with five days of mining followed by Proof of Stake

The first sign that something strange was going on was right at launch. The developer didn’t make an official announcement that launch had occurred; instead, he posted a link to the wallet in a random part of his Bitcointalk thread. When people in the community started mining Civilization coin was already well past block 200.

The developer said the 200 blocks which had mostly been pre-mined were going to be given away, but about an hour ago, the below statement was released. This is the exact statement; the developer is responsible for all the grammatical and spelling errors, as well as the bright red text and lack of sentence structure:

This statement can be interpreted in many ways, much like the bible. My translation is that the developer sold the source of Civilization coin to “hackers” before launch, and the “hackers” mined a couple hundred blocks before anyone else could extract. That brings up the question of who is posting that statement if it’s not the developer. It’s possible whoever posted the report might mean something else since 200 blocks being pre-mined isn’t catastrophic enough to restart a cryptocurrency.

This entire situation is confusing, and miners who wasted time and money on Civilization coin will likely never mine it again even if it re-launches. Civilization coin was mined for only 12 hours before it failed, perhaps a new record. Dafuq coin was the previous record holder; it took about 24 hours until people realized it was malware in disguise.

The most important thing is that I graduated the LVL 3 from my trading, I’m happy because of that. I have to say that wasn’t an easy task also because of the language barrier (I'm not native English) the questions were very hard to digest in the final exam. But finally, I did it!

Related to trading, August was amazing for me compared to other months. I had great profits for both accounts and I increased substantially my balances. The public portfolio is up 50% from 0.1 BTC to 0.15 BTC and my personal account also is up more than I was expected.

I split my balance in two, half goes into binance dex and the other half in binance cex. The purpose of this split is to have funds in binance in case of some new listing on cex as happened today with COS which was listed today on the cex exchange and fortunately I had funds in dex and I was able to profit on that listing. Also, I want to accumulate as much BNB as I can so the best place to do this is on binance dex.

Of course, we encountered some issues after moving, we still have some (such a not displaying permalink as a post name) but finally, I’m able to express my thoughts in my crypto trading journey

My dear altcoins are still in an uptrend I can see that our algorithms show lots of buy pressure from the bull side. All 3 time-frames 7d, 1d and 1h have over 20 coins on the most bought table in the front page which is a good sign!

Hope is just the beginning 😀  One of the issues is that I can’t stay in alts overnight because I have to stay in BNB because of the snapshot. Yesterday I forgot to do that and I missed one day of the snapshot….. I will sell them before going to sleep for BNB and tomorrow I will wake up early and I’ll jump again in alts if the trend is still up. I know that is possible to turn over if BTC will jump like crazy, but I’m looking at the charts and I see a downtrend on the BTC price.

But unfortunately, when they listed, the coin didn’t pump anymore bro, this is hilarious because is getting frustrating bro when I don’t participate in these listings the coins is pumping like crazy when I’m participating, the coin is dumping! Now ANKR is down 30% from the listing price 😐 Yesterday they also listed a coin (DUSK) and at some point the coin was up 200% bro.. 200% 😐 and today -30% that’s crazy

Now I’m back in the saddle, ready to kick ass some trades. Binance just announced their new token launch and this time I will participate in the lottery. We decided to take a 2 years loan in order to do this, I know is not the best choice but somehow I need to move forward, this seems to be a good opportunity because the last one had a 10x return or investments. Yeah, I know sounds too good to be true but that happened for real! I had in plan to participate at that too but I didn’t have enough funds into my balance to qualify for the lottery. This time will be different.

So today, not trades? Well I have a short TRX opened just a few mins ago on Bitmex but I’ll just keep it till I have to go, in like 2 hours I’ll be there. I don’t know why I don’t like going to weddings, people around me love wedding parties but not me. Food after food, drink, dance on shitty music and so on, I know the drill.

It’s Electric Castle (a music festival close to my city) and this is the first-year when I’m not going after 4 years in a raw.
