Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Everyone deserves a second chance. Once you've served your time, you need a way to integrate into society again. I think a big part of the reason why we have so many repeat criminals is the fact that it is so difficult to make a decent living after prison and they don't see another way to survive.

I hate when I'm talking to a girl and the conversation turns to sex, and I say, "What kind of things are you into?" They usually reply with, "Oh, I'm up for pretty much anything." And they always add some stupid winky face. I always want to write back, "Oh really anything? Don't say anything unless you mean it. Are you up for a guy to shit on your chest? Or stick a beer bottle up your ass? No? Then don't say anything." But I'm afraid that some day I'll get the reply back, "Sure." And then I'd have to run away. Far, far away.

They are a corporation. They don't exist to employ people. They exist to make profits. Employment is just a byproduct of a corporation. The unions asked the company to meet demands that would cause the company to cease being profitable. As a BUSINESS decision, the executives decided it was in the best interests of their shareholders for the company to be dissolved. They didn't go bankrupt because of executive bonuses. 1.75 million dollars is nothing to a company like Hostess. It's chump change. The enormous amounts of money that the unions demands would have cost would have made the company fail anyways.

Hostess will pay executives $1.75 million in bonuses after blaming unions for going bankrupt. More at ThinkProgress.
