One of the best parts of hiking in the almost-constant mist and fog was the few breaks. The Wrangells would hold us captive, only a compass telling us where to go. Then, in an instant, the clouds would part. There would be little pockets of light jetting across the mountains before the fog would inevitably close in again. Returning to instagram after over a month. I'm happy to say that this break was well worth it, as my boyfriend and I were backpacking the Wrangell St. Elias for a month. Views, antlers, skulls, and stories were all found there on a daily basis. I can't wait to catch up on everyone's photos. There will be tons of photos from Alaska, but I'll do my best to go out and shoot Montana photos as well! I want to take a moment to thank all the friends and family that helped make this trip possible.
