Last month @sapphire-draw mentioned there was some secret dialog that pops up by Brownbeard when you try to leave an island without Malroth. I wanted to see said dialog so off I went to get Malroth killed knocked out.

He's doing great!

Unfortunately, it was a failed experiment. Discovered a couple of things: • Fast travel is an insta-heal for your party members. • Brownbeard didn't care that Malroth was down for the count and not by my side. We left for Isle of Awakening just fine.

Tried to give him a high-five to show it was all in jest but he was still visibly upset my builder almost left him behind.

Sapphire regretted sharing this info with me. Told her it'd be okay and my builder would patch him up and kiss his boo-boos (see first image).

All good!

(later found I did actually once trigger said dialog. no idea how i did it though XD)

sometimes a theme recurs in your work without your permission. and sometimes it reaches a threshold where you're like. well now i think this is saying something about me against my will. don't know what though

The thing about freeing the nipple is that it's not even about if you have breasts or not (already arbitrary but I digress) it's fully just gendered oppression. There is no ontological difference between Male Nipples and Female Nipples and all of it crumbles apart if you like, think even a little about people who aren't cis + perisex & how people try to apply these rules to them

getting an office job after years of being a self-employed adhd nightmare was so funny though. like all through college and working for myself i assembled this terrifying patchwork of lifehacks and getting-things-done techniques and none of them ever seemed to work that well or for that long. but then i'm in an office where i have a defined set of tasks that need doing with no creative input on my part and suddenly i seem like a fucking productivity wizard. coworkers marvel at how quickly i work when they ask me to do something. what else would i be doing. we are at work. you asked me to fill out a form. why would it take longer than five minutes. what do you people do all day.

every time i see one of those cutesy videos of some US Army boot boy surprising their kid(s)/parent(s) by dramatically sneaking up behind them in full uniform during a party and then they hug and cry or whatever the literal only thing i can think about is how they signed up to murder people. people who will never get to surprise their loved ones ever again. future history textbooks are going to use these videos as their most blatant example of propaganda. in a better world those videos would end with the crowd spitting on the soldier and/or beating them to death while asking them why they thought they could ever show their face again after what they signed up for

Richard Hescox, “First Contact.” When I wanted to include this artwork in my art collection, I reached out to the artist for more information on where it was first published and got a surprising answer: Never. Hescox created it as a sample for his portfolio in 1975.

My art collection has a nice clean version of it in my section about gunfights in space. So, today is the first time this one has appeared in print!
