I am a dreamer, hopeful at heart;

I wonder what would happen if I went to Mars.

I hear the creek, water splashing through;

I see an oasis, if only it was true.

I want a library, full of literature and art;

I feel focused, my head is cool.

I touch the clouds, up in the sky;

I worry about my decisions, asking myself “why?”

I cry for the thought of people dying at war;

I say my words, laced with care.

I dream about things that are out of my control;

I try my best so I can reach my goals.

A sound of beeping flashed through the room,
