Buffalo Chicken lettuce wraps were pretty good. I made a ton more of those protein brownies. Phone died this morning so activity is lower than real. Not happy about the number on the scale but I'm gonna keep trusting the process.

I feel like the calories have to be wrong but it looks like i logged everything. Sometimes it glitches on the total though. I meal prepped a ton of stir fry because chicken thighs were on sale but I didn't realize I only had one pack of konjac noodles left. Air fryer steak continues to be goated and this pie is basically just flavored Greek yogurt and cottage cheese with protein powder in it so don't judge too harshly. I spent all day moving furniture so I'm tired.

Cookie dough protein bars: 5/10, bretty gud
Candied pecans: 4/10, but would be 6/10 if I didn't burn them
Cheddar crackers: 1/10 utter trash

Bike adventure this morning was pretty good even if it was hot and humid. Not pictured was a mini carb crash out where I ate a homemade rice crispy, two packs of fruit snacks, and a scoop of peanut butter. Tomorrow I'm gonna try a bunch of keto snack recipes to replace my usual low fat snacks so hopefully I have things ready to go to satisfy hunger as I start phasing out carbs. Also air fryer steak is a game changer this might be my favorite way

Day 47




I have a bunch of new recipes to try to switch over to low carb. I'm not gonna throw out all the stuff I have now but I am going to phase it out. Tonight I did my ice cream with cream and almond milk instead of whole milk and it was less foamy but tasted the same. Also the pie crust rehydrated and wasn't as bad tonight. Forgot to take a picture of the carrot cake before eating. My dad stole a slice from my fridge when I wasn't home and was like, "it was good but I think it would be better if you put sugar in it" lol. Also, big non-scale victory. I went to try on a pair of large shorts (I don't have the confidence to wear shorts but I don't own them either and I want to build that confidence so I went shopping) and they didn't fit! I had to get mediums! Most of my pants are size 12 and falling off of me but based on my measurements I'm a size 10! I haven't wore a size 10 since college. So motivating.

Fat free, sugar free apple pie. Pulling it out of the oven I was optimistic but... Ugh. Taste wise, it's fine, honestly, good even, but the texture... The crust is so tough. It doesn't matter if there's like 12g of protein and only 200cal per slice and it tastes like Christmas if you can't chew it!!! Will need to keep experimenting...

Lots of movement today. I keep forgetting I moved my scale and honestly that's fine. Would love to ignore it after the weekend binge... I'm about to switch to keto (surgeon says I have to be low carb and low sodium a month before surgery and the month after) so I'm gonna do a ton of baking and try to be healthy about it for the next few weeks until I switch.

ok we're done with cupcakes. The past few days of binging were bad but I don't really care. The cupcakes I make are honestly the best ever and hitting them hard when I've been in a month long calorie deficit made them so much better. Being carb loaded for workouts has been awesome as well. I need to not do that again. I'm about to switch to keto. My surgeon needs me low carb/low sodium to help reduce swelling/water retention.

Was in the car most of the day so steps is lower than normal. Not pictured was the extra cupcakes I ate crashing out at the event they were for. I need to get rid of them asap. Have another party tomorrow but after that, trash. Protein brownies are really shaping up though, I made some modifications and it was a big improvement.
