I've still been playing TS3 lately, but since I've been playing on my save with my self-insert sim, I haven't bothered to blog about it since... well, I'll admit I'm a little embarrassed. 馃槄
I don't think I really have a reason to be though. It's not like I'm making my sim do anything weird or anything. It's just been her living with her bestie from the future and helping him achieve his dreams by supporting him with her Culinary job (which I'll admit I just chose for the special fridge you get at lvl 10).
I think it's kind of funny how he has the 'technophobia' trait, but his lifetime wish is to reach the top of the Law Enforcement career - forensics branch... To get the most out of that job, he needs to get a technology degree. XD
Anyways, something I've realized after playing this game so much is that I tend to forget a ton of things that happened after I step away for a while. So... I guess maybe I should just document things just for me sometimes.

This is from a house I never quite finished in 2022, but I'm still kinda proud of this dining room's design. ^^
Edit: Oh yeah and I made this 3x3 bathroom too.

So... I decided to take my sim-self and dress up however I wanted. I ended up coming up with this outfit (+ some eyeliner since I've always wanted to try it).
I also decided to start a new game with my self-insert in Hidden Springs (since I love its environment) and I'm currently trying to build a house from scratch.
I'm also trying to figure out who I should have my sim marry this time. I'm probably going to have her try to find someone among the pre-made sims, but I also wonder if I could introduce a fictional character into the town and have them meet? 馃
(If I do it'll probably be Phoenix Wright *cough*)
Still... I'll admit it's kinda hard imagining my sim being with anyone else besides Cole... 馃様

I think it's kind of funny how in TS3 you can't make your sim strictly heterosexual, but what you can do is open up NRAAS and set their gender preference for the same gender -999999 or something. XD
I actually had to do that with my vampire sim because apparently feeding on other sims technically counts as a romantic action, which affects their gender preference values. I discovered this after feeding from townies indiscriminately.

Miles just had a vampire lady use the 'intimidate' action on him, and he was so thoroughly freaked out that he fainted, peed himself, fainted AGAIN, and then after he cleaned himself up his shower broke. 馃ぃ
Meanwhile his guest decided to help herself to his coffeemaker downstairs and then left without a word.
Update: I had him drink a Radical Repairum potion and he immediately got sick. He was able to fix the shower in an instant at least. 馃憤
...And then his dishwasher broke.
Man, this is probably the worst streak of bad luck I've seen in the sims.

Edgeworth got invited to a pool party, but since he had the 'proper' trait, he kept insisting on wearing formalwear. It seemed like the other guests kept jeering at him for breaking the dress code.

A short trip to bridgeport
Since I have the NRAAS Traveler mod, I decided I would send Edgeworth on a short vacation to Bridgeport as a way to scope it out. See if it's worth moving to and stuff.
I had him pick out this little studio apartment to rent for the time being. I... probably could have picked something better, but oh well. The framerate did stutter a little while he was here, but at least there weren't any lag issues. 馃憤
Since there weren't really any attractions around, I had Edgeworth visit the butterfly garden.
You know... For once, he actually seems...
...Happy. 馃ズ
Overall, I'd say he had a nice trip. I'm thinking I'll make it official and have him move to Bridgeport next time I play.

Edgeworth, NO - we DO NOT 'formalize' in the POOL!
WHAT ARE YOU DOING??
Edit: other sims were literally laughing at him as he was walking back to his car, sopping wet...

You know, I think it's interesting how since I gave Edgeworth the Brooding trait, every time he loses a friend, his social need completely empties and he feels an intense need to brood about it.
...Now, I'm no expert on Edgeworth's character, but this kinda feels like something he would do in private.

Still thinking about the time Edgeworth was at a party and randomly decided to accuse the host of impropriety, which instantly sent their relationship down to "distant friends" but she still thanked him for coming to the party anyways.
... 馃ズ
I should have him call her next time I play. Ms.Mason has only shown kindness to Edgeworth so far.

I'm taking a break from Sims today, but when I start playing again, do you think I should have Miles Edgeworth investigate the mysterious machine that appeared on his lawn several days ago? I think it might be kind of funny if he figured out how to go to the distant future. XD

Ah yes, very convincing...

I just realized... he was hired to do this case by a CHILD. 0.0
Edit: I guess it makes more sense when you realize that this specific case was to retrieve a stolen bottle of mouthwash from a family member... Still kinda weird though.
