Heh... It's funny. We went both went to Naranja, but I didn't notice him until we ended up at the same party. Well, he had to be there, he was the DJ... but yeah, we just kinda... happened!

Hey, where’s Leah? I haven’t seen her around lately.

[Leah begins pawing at the food she prepared in the kitchen]

She is currently a Skitty. All that Herba Mystica we ended up feeding her didn't turn her back to normal, but she's able to climb and leap now. In the meantime, she's been helping in the kitchen while I took over her old job with managing the books.

… She makes this look so easy.

Arven, what are you studying?

Oh, me? Culinary Arts, with a focus on nutrition. I love cooking, yeah, but I've also taken to Pokémon Health, so nutritionist seems like a happy medium… Besides, it helps to be near my boyfriend.

Things are starting to go more smoothly. But with the Hoppip catering event coming up, I'm worried we're not gonna have enough human hands on board.

… No? All of the Pokémon here work here. Either me or Leah are their trainers. … Leah is not up for adoption.

“University! Been trying to get my degree. But when Juliana asked for help, I wasn’t going to say no! Plus, that’s a little practical experience.”

An Extra Set of Hands

[Juliana is tapping her foot as she waits for Arven. Currently, she’s feeding Leah her lunch.] “Oh… how did this happen to you…?!”

“Little Buddy! You there?”

[Juliana sees her friend from Naranja Academy, Arven, at the door. She just rushes and opens it]

“Arven! Hi! So glad you could make it!” [drags him in and gives him an apron]

“Hey! So what’s the whole deal with the café? Your boss gone for a bit?” [he then notices the Skitty on the counter… also in uniform, but with glasses on]

“You could say that.”

“…Little buddy, what happened?”

“I don’t know! She was on her break and on her laptop and suddenly, POOF!”

“Have you tried Herba Mystica?”

“I… no, but those cure illnesses, not break curses! Is this even a curse?!”

“I’ll make a sandwich, let’s see if that works!”

[Leah’s Eevee cries out, signaling Arven to the kitchen]

“… I think the boss is trying to tell you where to go.”

“… Is that—?”

“No. She actually is a Pokémon. Leah’s Pokémon, in fact.”

“Oh, okay! Lead the way, Eevee!”

[She runs to the kitchen and leads Arven inside, who ties his hair back to prevent it from getting in the food.]

One puzzle later…

“Alright! We got it! Now, we see if that turns Leah back to normal.”

[Juliana plates it and gives it to the Skitty… who nibbles on it. Nothing yet.] “And you used all five sprigs, right?”

“All five.”

“M-maybe it takes time. She is eating it rather slowly.”

“… Maybe. Hopefully.”

“In the meantime… do you mind helping out here? We kinda have a big catering event coming up.”

“Oh! Sure, I can help! Just expect a lot of sandwiches!”

“Tinkaton! You got someone helping with sandwiches!”

[Tinkaton in the kitchen laughs her childlike laugh, happy she and her, “sandwich press,” has a friend now. Arven just chuckles.]

“Anything else you need help with?”

“None that come to mind, bestie.”

[Juliana then gives Arven a matching hat to go with the apron

“Alright, then I guess it’s time to do some work!”

[Arven is now available for questions!]

I don't know. I'm the people person! Leah's the one who knows how to manage money! Plus, now I can't leave the place to do deliveries with Koraidon because the place will be empty otherwise!

I don't know. She was on her break and was spinning a wheel and, suddenly, she went poof! And now she's a Skitty!
