Welcome to Power Rangers Pines!

I’ve recently started playing @paleopinesofficial and I’m theming it after Power Rangers! My player character is Kendall (Morgan, Dino Charge), and I’ve already befriended Ethan the Styracosaurus (Dino Thunder) and Amelia the Ankylosaurus (Dino Fury). I’m hoping to find Koda the Stegosaurus (Dino Charge) soon once the game decides “Uncommon” isn’t actually “Ultra Rare”

In many asks, I've seen you say you'd like to add various features "if you get the opportunity." What does that mean to laypeople? Aside from getting more people to play/buy the game, is there something we can do to make more content more likely?

This is a great question!

Aside from getting the game, the thing that helps games like ours is simply spreading the word! Tell your friends, family, teachers, coworkers, dogs, cats, lizards about us! Engage with our socials so we can reach more people, post reviews on steam (or on your console stores!)- visibility is really key for indie titles, and we're Lucky (haha!) to have a community who's so great at spreading the word already!

If you guys do ever add a winter season, I also think it would be really cute if there were blankets that the rancher could get for their dinos, like the kind that they put on horses when it's cold outside.

Hiii this is the anon that had the problem with the game crashing after leaving the ranch sometimes. I did what you advised and it seemed to help for a while! But i was spending a lot of time reorganizing my pens today, and the game suddenly crashed while i was picking up a decoration. Is there a way to fix this as well? I apologize if this isnt a helpful way to report bugs.

Hello! Checked with our QA team and they've asked; was it just when you picked up ONE specific decoration?

If it's a general "happens when you do a LOT of reorganising", we'd recommend doing your ranch reorganisation in bits and pieces. Reorganise a little, do your daily chores, and then come back and do another chunk before bed. Also, while you're saving a load, you could go back and delete older saves again (and keep this up while you're saving more often!)

Have you guys looked into allowing us to remove and move the trees on our ranch? The permanent placements make planning out the ranch really difficult, and there are places I would love to have trees but can’t move or plant them there.

Maybe allow us to dig them up like normal fruit trees and replant them elsewhere? You can even add pine cones as something they drop as a crunchy and earthy food for dinos if you want a more fruit tree-esque pine tree.

Also on the subject of trees, have you considered allowing us to have two or more of each fruit sapling? I would love my orchard to be symmetrical, but currently some trees can only be obtained once.

(I love this game BTW. These are just suggestions. Also the pride dinos fill my heart with rainbows and I am so happy they exist. If you guys are open to it at some point, would you be interested in adding other flag colors like the aromantic, intersex and aroace flag (the aroace flag is SO pretty)?)

Marlo is the only person who can cut down mature trees (since they're important to the people of Paleo Pines) but we never quite managed to get that into the game. It's on our big list of would-be-nice-to-add features.

As for allowing you to have more than one- I think that was a design choice (again, because trees are SO important to the people of Paleo Pines). Thank you so much for playing and for your suggestions- I've passed all feedback over to the team!

Hi there! I’m just popping in to let you know about some bugs in the switch version.

It crashes whenever you are on your ranch for too long, especially if you are making changes to fences and farm plots, and occasionally in other spots as well. I typically get about a crash for every 2 relaxed ingame days.

The other bug I found is in regards to melanistic Deinonychus. Instead of displaying properly in the journal, they display as “hyacinth” instead.

Bugs aside, I absolutely adore Paleo Pines. My dinosaur loving autistic self almost died of happiness when I saw the trailer for the first time.

(Also, I hope someday you guys consider adding in the cut sauropods and increasing the number of dreamstones to accommodate them. Even if you don’t though, I am content with my small army of microraptors.)

Hello! I've spoken to our QA team and here's their response!

If it's happening only when you're doing building stuff ,we'd recommend doing your ranch re-organising in bits and pieces and saving between chunks of it. So, reorganising one plot of crops, go save, leave the ranch and do your daily activities, come back and do another one before bed. You could also check out your save slots and delete old ones because that does contribute to performance!

The second bug is a known issue and will be fixed in V 1.3.7 or later- although this is a Hyacinth Deinonychus, not a mela!

Hello :) I love the game so much, its so cozy and relaxing

Just curious if multiplayer or even just co-op has been thought about? My bestie keeps asking me to stream it so they can watch me play, It would be pretty cool if some form of multiplayer may be added in the future!

After several in-game years, Avery has never once showed up on my Budding Day. Is this intended behavior, a bug, or just incredibly bad luck/a sign that Avery secretly hates me?

Double checked with our QA team! Avery only visits if you've finished his storyline and then it's a 50% if he's gonna visit or not!
