I think the dehumanization of Arabs has reached its pinnacle, the image of the fundamentalist terrorist who's unable to rough out one singular rational thought or emotion in the middle of his blind religious fervor won over the reality of their diverse and rich human existence
And it wasn't an accident, an unexpected development that no one saw coming, no. This is a plan carried out with purpose, a project. It's in books, in academia, on TV, in the things people say, jokes, complaints, stereotypes, movies, paintings, cop shows, romcoms, cartoons. its not even enough to say it started back in 2001, its a centuries long colonial, and then imperialist, project
This film is projected over an entire population, composed of millions, from babies to elderly, from Morocco to Afghanistan, to hide their real form and make the western citizen feel indifferent, or even ecstatic, when exposed to the indiscriminate killings of these people.

The idea has been circulating that northern Gaza is empty after a massive evacuation yesterday, but this is not true. There are still around 800,000 people in northern Gaza, and they are now facing increasing bombardment and starvation, with decreasing media coverage.
Most journalists who were in north Gaza have evacuated to the south, and that includes most or all of the best-known, English-speaking journalists with the highest follower counts. They are trying to share information from northern Gaza, but they already have a catastrophic situation to document in the south.
There are a few journalists and other social media users still in northern Gaza, but their accounts have a smaller following and they mostly post in Arabic, so the English-speaking world is not circulating their updates. These people have chosen to remain in extreme danger in order to document the ongoing atrocities in northern Gaza, but are receiving very little engagement with their content.
I will post the journalists and other Instagram users in north Gaza of whom I am aware. Please follow with them and engage with their content, so that the world doesn’t let Israel carry out genocide in northern Gaza in silence.
I will post Instagram usernames with links to their profiles, as well as provide their names if I can, as well as some details about who they are, from where in north Gaza they are posting, and details about what they’re saying. This is not a complete list, and there are a few people in this list who may not be in north Gaza, but I can’t distinguish their location and they’re sharing content from north Gaza. I apologize in advance for any and all errors I have made and will fix or update them as they appear to me.
Journalists and other people posting from north Gaza as of Saturday November 11th:

anasjamal44 (Anas Al Sharif, journalist, Indonesian Hospital)

"Palestinians do not just die. Israel bombed the home of my friend Chevening alumnus Maisara Al Rayyes, killing him and his family. This statement from CheveningFCDO is unacceptable. Palestinians are killed. And not just in last month but over 75 years of oppression, ethnic cleansing, occupation and murder. Enough of playing with words to avoid holding the perpetrators of mass murder and crimes against humanity to account."

Israel holding 750 families in Hebron under curfew for a month, in the form of collective punishment
Since the war broke out on 7 October 2023, the military has been imposing a curfew on 11 neighborhoods in Area H2 in Hebron. Stores and businesses have been shut down and thousands of people, amounting to about 750 families, are imprisoned at home. Only after two weeks of full curfew, on 21 October 2023, did the military permit residents to leave home on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, for an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.
Venturing out of the house requires crossing checkpoints and engaging with soldiers. This invariably involves humiliating treatment and meticulous body searches, and takes up most of the brief window of time allotted to the residents. As a result, many cannot get back in time to the checkpoint and have to stay out an entire day or night until it reopens. This prevents residents from getting what they need, and some are running low on food, water, medication and cooking gas.
The curfew has completely disrupted life in H2. Residents cannot get to work and school or visit family, and all the businesses are closed. They are living in complete uncertainty, without knowing when they will return to normal. Meanwhile, settlers in Hebron are enjoying full freedom of movement, which they use to harrass residents and damage their property.
There is no justification for keeping hundreds of people under a blanket movement ban, locked up at home for weeks on end. Israel is taking advantage of the fact that local and international attention is currently diverted from the West Bank to impose far-reaching measures that constitute collective punishment, which is prohibited under international law. This conduct is integral to Israel’s apartheid regime, which is at its most flagrant in Hebron.

On the night of Sunday, May, 2010, showing a terrifying disregard for human life, Israeli naval forces surrounded and boarded ships sailing to bring humanitarian aid to the blockaded Gaza Strip. On the largest ship, the Mavi Marmara, Israeli commandos opened fire on civilian passengers, killing 9 passengers and wounding dozens more.
Video broadcast by Turkey's Cihan News Agency appears to show two Israeli soldiers on board the Mavi Marmara kicking and then shooting one of the activists. The broadcaster identifies the victim as Furkan Dogan, a nineteen year old Turkish young man who was also a US citizen. An autopsy has already revealed that Dogan was shot five times from less that 45cm in the face, the back of the head, twice in the leg and once in the back.

Above is 15 minutes of footage from the moments leading up to and during the Israeli commandos' assault on the Mavi Marmara.
Cultures of Resistance director lara Lee was aboard the besieged ship and has since returned home safely.
Despite the Israeli government's thorough efforts to confiscate all footage taken during the attack, lara Leo was able to retain some of her recordings. Above is 15 minutes of footage from the moments leading up to and during the Israeli commandos' assault on the Mavi Marmara.
