This is my brain rot. This is my playground. This honestly has nothing to do with my thoughts on actual Star Wars, it’s just where I make my pretty dolls kiss. (Over and over and over again).

2. Hawkins Fuller/Tim Laughlin (Fellow Travelers)

Doomed by the narrative. Never meant to be. Tragedy and heartache. Would I be so into them if them got to be together without literally ever part of their lives trying to keep them apart? No, it’s what makes their story so good.

3. Louis de pointe du lac / Lestat de Lioncourt (Interview with the Vampire)

Toxic af, but the only time Louis had happiness was playing house with Lestat in the Claudia years.

(I was going to go LOTR next but while deciding I got sidetracked thinking about vampires)

4. Sookie Stackhouse/Eric Northman (True Blood)

She would have been better off with Quinn. That would have been the happily ever after. But she doesn’t get a happily ever after where her life isn’t entangled with vampires. And her and Eric can’t resist the draw between them. (Idk it’s been a while since I went here but if memory serves..)

5. Stefan Salvatore/Elena Gilbert/Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries)

If they had gotten over themselves and just had an incestuous threesome all of their troubles would have been avoided for eternity. (I mean literally, like in every incarnation, but we like Elena better than the other versions.)

Rules of the game is tag five people, which I’m going to be brave and actually do, but please know this is the least pressure scenario ever.

If you haven’t already, go read Sacred to the Gods by @renlyslittlerose. I have never read a better depiction of Obi-Wan and Anakin. It’s heartbreaking. It’s agony. It’s the perfect portrayal of the tragedy that the love was there but it wasn’t enough. That they both knew they were on the wrong path but kept on, hoping they could find their way back.

It is the most obikin fic of all time. Quite possibly the most Star Wars. It is perfect.

Honestly sometimes people do just focus on the jedi too much. And I mean this in both ways, like if you take the basic war and downfall of the republic plot in the prequels, you can find endless posts about how the whole point is the jedi did this or the jedi did that, it's all about the jedi's flaws or it's all about them being justified- meanwhile the movies are just there making super basic points about emergency wartime powers and the use of fear in politics and this post is not going to evolve into a critique of the prequels re: the iraq war but i will just say it's fucked up there and move on and the jedi are mostly just kind of there. It's not really about them, as a group? I think this is where the Padme-Palpatine story deserves more attention.

I wanted to do a close up of lashes brushing against cheek but it was a nightmare and it ate all my remaining time until the deadline.

I turned it on its head later on by... putting in butterflies 😆

Anakin lost his balance and tumbled back when the hands that were holding him up released their grip on his hair. He was falling so much further than the distance to the floor; he was falling out of the world as he knew it when Obi-Wan’s body contact vanished. It was like gravity itself had disappeared. He was untethered. Unmoored. He would never stop falling without Obi-Wan’s grounding presence to draw him back.

What if I did a western/cowboy obikin au, where Obi-Wan comes to America with his wife, Satine, and they set up a homestead. Only to have it raided by outlaws known as Death Watch, and Satine is murdered.

So Obi-Wan takes the law into his own hands, hires a gang of outlaws himself (Anakin and Co) and goes after the gang
