Task #04 - the set
My image is the reproduce of Iron Man scenes, this image can be used for film publicity. It can also be used in peripheral products propaganda like Iron man’s toys.
Iron Man is one of my favourite movie series. When I was in high school, I started making video in After Effect after watching Iron Man.

This time I will make a set of Iron Man in Photoshop. The difficulty would be the cinematic colour tone and composing a non-existent place.

I shoot some elements that I would use in studio. I shoot them with 5D mk3 and 100mm Marco f2.8L IS.
Getting a great highlight by using ‘soft north light’ lighting

Background removing, basic colour turning, adding a light in eyes and chest.
Background removing as well, copy a black and white version ready to use
put those element in, add a lens blur effect for the background stuff
Lens blur and basic colour turning
create the HUD of Iron Man, I made some of the HUD before in AE.
Put them into a right angle, duplicate it with ‘Lighting’ mode and Gaussian blur effect
Finally some adjustment layers to get the cinematic colour tone

I was trying to edit it with the photo as NICOLE MICKLE’s high key photo style but this will give up the model’ hair colour and her skin colour, and finally I choose to the colour version as the final image, her hair colour and her skin colour contrast with her black and white coat and shorts.
Final image:
I used Lightroom to slightly adjust the proportion of the image, and remove the acne on her face.
I shoot it in canon 5Dmk3 with Sigma 24-70 f/2.8 Art , f/10, 1/125 sec and ISO 100

Task #02 Final image
I tried a different angle, far and close-up, and finally decided to use this image as the final work. I am very satisfied with the lighting in this image.The texture of the characteristic clothes and hair he had can be clearly seen. The model's face is just divided into left and right with cool and warm colours. The white light on his hand is contrasted with his black nails. His serious expression contrasts with his smiley face on his socks.
I shoot it in canon 5Dmk3 with EF85mm f1.2L, f/8, 1/160 sec and 100ISO

I shot at 5DmkIII with 70-200mm F/2.8L II Lens in 1/125 sec. f/13 ISO 100.
The subject this time is a paper butterfly art work. I made this art work for this ‘still life’ shooting. I had intended to shoot only paper, but it would seem monotonous, so I decided to use the shadow of the paper as the main body. Finally, the muddy shadow, representing the butterfly dancing moment; the paper at front also responded the subject ‘Still Life’

Task4 Final
I shoot it in canon 5D mk3 with 85mm f1.2L. It’s in 1/160sec, f13, ISO100.
The idea of the shots is a ‘face’ of a young professional organisation. I want to show the young and vigour on the model’s face. I put a main light on the right side directly point to the model. And a soft light with soft box on the left side. It crate the triangle on the model's face. Also, I put a light behind the model to light up the backdrop to crate more depth to the background.
