I've been with Taylor since debut, since I was a tiny little child. Growing up with Taylor means that her music has been a main character of my life for pretty much every big and small event, through anger and sadness and joy, everything. And I know it's the same for her, it's the music and the work she put into it but also the memories these songs hold, the chapters of her life they represent. The rerecordings were about claiming back her work and betting on her future, it was the right choice and I love them so much and they made me respect her more than I did and that's saying a lot, because that's not easy work it's tough as hell. But in many ways it was heartbreaking having to let go of all of those moments her voice at different stage of her life, the videos and the tours carry. Now we have them back, untainted, free of that pain. Now SHE has them back untainted, free of that pain.
