depends on how long you'll be watching them and the amount of work plus where you're at, but I say $60 to $80
I looked at the daycare rates for around my area and was leaning towards $60 a week / $12 a day since that's like half of what daycares around here cost
I also had a long talk with my mom who also did childcare and she helped me figure out a lot of stuff I gotta do for it uvu/

My peeps with kiddos or just thoughts in general
What would you guys say is a good price for affordable babysitting? (Daily not hourly)
Summer vacay is coming up and I'm basically here alone all day
Thinking offering some low cost affordable childcare for peeps who might not be able to afford daycare or summer programs might be nice .3.

I turned 30 this year, it is nothing special really. 🤷♀️
In my head I am still like 25 or so...? My likes, friends, preferences and hobbies haven't changed much, so yeah... just the first number changed from 2 to 3, does that make sense?
And I still haven't figured life out, but in my opinion, anyone saying they have it completely figured out are either liars or in denial.
Everyone fucks up, we're only human, it is what you make out of your mistakes what makes the difference, but that could only be me, I guess?
Nah I'm pretty much the same... I don't think life is really something you can figure out? I think its yourself as a person that you need to explore and learn
And that doesn't really have an age limit..
Like my mom started her current job at 51 and has been killing it more than at any of her other jobs and is happier than she's ever been
My dad went back to school in his 40s
If I have a kid I don't plan to until my mid 30s, otherwise I'm adopting/becoming a foster parent
20s are like... still baby years... two ten year old's in a trench coat... there's still so much that comes after

Thirty isn't even old. It's not even middle aged. It's just standard normal adult age
Tru tru tru
I'd say its in your 30s when you really start figuring out who you are as a person
So its the really the perfect time to experience life

Mama ziggs, I'm turning 30 in a few days and it's creating this well in my stomach that I've wasted my life away or that I didn't do enough to enjoy what's supposed to be the best years of my life and could really use some encouragement :(
Let me ask you something
What do you think is gonna happen in the day between when you're 29 and when you're 30?
Do you think some invisible wall is going to come down and prevent you from still being able to enjoy doing those things you think would have made your 20s better?
Do you think the age police are gonna come and give you a new list of 'activities approved for people 30+'?
Nothing is going to change
You're still going to be the person you were yesterday
The person you were at 28
The person you were at 25
The only difference is the experiences you've accrued through that time, your 20s aren't your best years, your best years are the years you make them.
You can still go out and do things, live your best life, how you want to live.
The idea that your best years end after 30 are ridiculous (and steeped in societal misogyny and misandry but lets not go there)
You can still go out and hang with friends at 30... You can still party at 30... you can still fall in love at 30... get married at 30... start a family at 30... change careers, take up new hobbies, learn new things, go places, do things...
Turning 30 isn't a bad thing... turning 40 isn't a bad thing... turning 50 isn't a bad thing
Aging is a luxury many don't get to experience, embrace it and don't let anyone who thinks it comes with stipulations on what you can and cant do tarnish it for you, they're the ones who readily and willingly limit themselves
Enjoying life has no age limit

maybe it's because I watch too much modern design, but for some reason I instant thought about the command position of the room and putting a bookshelf behind your couch to give it support
I do wanna start reading again, I used to a lot as a teen so I was thinking of getting a bookshelf to gradually fill -v-
Which if anyone has book recommendations 👀
