I WON ... IIIIII WOOOONNNN!!!!!!!!
OK, looks like some people are even more newbie than me. I won my second SC2 multiplayer game. Had a good start game, maybe build my first supply depot a bit too late, but I was ready for incoming hostiles. However, looks like my opponent had a bad game before or something, because he decided not to rush into barracks.
This gave me a big advantage a let me slaughter him fast enough. Good game, yet very much to learn, maybe this game against 'keths' just was a bit too easy.
Things to keep in mind next time:
- Try to maintain a consistent build order - Keep an eye on the expansion and constant building of SCV's - MINIMAP MINIMAP MINIMAP!!!

My first SC2 mp training game
As expected, I totally failed at my first game. I started of rather well. Nicely managed my SCV's, didn't get supply blocked and everything worked out nice the first few minutes. I went for a marines/marauder/ghost build.
But then ... I really didn't expect that reaper attack and they nailed me in the butt. After that, an attack with cloaked ships (I think it were banshees) my management was a total loss. I don't know how to counter cloaked stuff, so I really need to get into that asap. From there it went downhill quite fast. I lost most of my defensive units, couldn't get my economy back up so I had to surrender after about 20 minutes.
Things I've learned:
Even on practice games people stab you in the back (literally ;))
Need to look into cloaky stuff and how to counter them
Map control and map knowledge ... I totally lost my way.
Focus on learning units better, fast!
But, better game next time!

Starcraft 2
So I finally decided to start playing Starcraft II after a long period of doubt. I've been playing RTS games since Dune II back in the early days and most big titles have been on my harddrive.
Nonetheless, I suck at RTS games, so I will probably die horribly again and again ... and again. But, I'm just gonna play it for the fun of it, so I don't really care about my ladder score. I'll post some battle reports soon ...

Tribes Ascend (Closed beta)
I've just received my closed beta key ... downloaded the client ... and ... it failed miserably :§
Crashes right after startup, to bad actually because I really was looking forward to some hill-skiing-dashing-murdering-action. Maybe an update will fix it, I'll keep you updated.
