TimWalker: This was the second sitting I made with Harry. I felt relaxed and I really enjoyed photographing him. These pictures stand out to me as an example of ease. Editors, mentors, and teachers all used to say to me “make your photos appear effortless — be effortless — float like a butterfly click like a bee — don’t try too hard”. Well that is all well and good, but it has always seemed to me that good pictures only manifest through bloody hard work. Effortlessness is really really hard. There are so many variables when taking pictures, it can feel like all the elements are against you. I think this was the only time — through a combination of a fine spring day and a genuinely comfortable team — where things were actually easy.

It’s so bloody dead around here nowadays but I hope that that changes a bit when our dear harry comes back because every time you pop up on my dash I’m remained of how delightful and funny you are and I miss the good old days when we were all having a ball here. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for telling us about your dream so we know what’s coming and I miss seeing you on my dash even though we’ve never known each other at all. Okay bye xx
I too miss the high times of 2017-2020, but for everything there is a season and a time for every purpose etc etc, I suppose. Perhaps when Harry graces us once again with his presence (actual presence, as opposed to random sightings on bikes and in marathons and Berlin nightclubs and at papal conclaves) we will in fact get to know each other! It’s been known to happen :)

I did as you asked and checked out the tag. OH MY LORD you have an amazing dream life. I'm jealous! Harry sometimes figures in mine but I can never remember the details. Which is a shame, because I'm sure I carry him on my shoulder like an invisible, sequin-clad elf.
Harry and I are besties on the astral plane, he doesn’t have a lot of time to pop into other people’s dreams. It’s been a while since he showed up, so I can only assume this is A Sign.

Great news, harries! My subconscious has delivered me prophetic Harry-related news via 100% reliable* information on Harry’s upcoming moves, in dream format.
The setting: a trip to a large amusement park near the border of England and Germany (walk with me people)
The cast: Our dear Harry, his newest band member (a cute strawberry blond named Margot), a student from one of my classes, various and sundry invented mutual friends, and Harry’s bestie, moi.
Random list of 100% reliable information:
• First single is called Smile (not a Michael Jackson cover), upbeat and catchy
• For 4th album, he “wanted to avoid ANY genre in [his] previous albums”
• Promo photos include him in a sparkly blue unitard and tophat and a drawn-on handlebar mustache
• Refused a proposal that he pretend to date my middle-school student for publicity (good call tbh)
• Enjoys rollercoasters and was irate at his portrayal as hating them which he was forced to say to make him sound relatable
• Asked me to pretend to be an angry wife berating him while walking through the amusement park so as to avoid recognition, a part I must say I played with absolute authenticity
In a part of the dream unrelated to Harry, I missed a turn driving home and ended up crossing the German border on foot. It was a large field with a picturesque stone wall at the border, very pretty, 10/10 would cross again
You’re welcome!
#*check next tag for proof of the factual nature of my dreams#harry dreams#bet you thought you’d seen the last of me#but no I am simply biding my time waiting for a reason to live

Hi friends.
I know I haven’t been here in awhile. The past year has been a rough one for my little guy and I. Unfortunately on Thursday (October 17, 2024) we lost our home and everything we own to a fire in our apartment. This was our “start over” home and we had just moved in March of 2024.
Thankfully we were not home but our cat and toy goldendoodle were. Cuddles (cat) seemed to have taken the worst of it. The firefighter gave him chest compressions and oxygen and sent us to the vet while they continued to look for my dog and contain the fire.
We definitely almost lost him but after a lot of oxygen, X-rays, an IV, and a good bath, he’s home and doing very well. Nugget (dog) just needed a breathing treatment and a bath.
So while we are all alive and well physically, we’ve lost everything. My baby was even in his baseball uniform so was left with just cleats and his ball uniform. As many of you know, he’s also autistic and medically complex. He’s lost not only all of his toys and clothes but his fidgets and weighted blanket, as well as his medical supplies, etc.
We are safe and staying at my sister’s house for now. Keep up in your thoughts!
I’m going to link a GFM and Amazon wish list but please don’t feel obligated or pressured to give, even a share would help.

How are you? Still teaching art? How is your son?
I’m hanging by a thread most days, same old same old, thank you for asking ❤️. Yes, still teaching art (and on the bright side, even though I’m teaching an extra block again this year which is exhausting, this year’s 6th graders are vastly nicer than the past few years, so that’s been lovely).
My son is in a weird sort of stable place where he’s definitely not *well* but he isn’t having the dramatically awful lows/flares he was having before he had Rituxan infusions. Like instead of fluctuating between 15% and 75% of full health he’s just sorta stuck at 75%. Which is a huge improvement, but I just don’t know what to do next. Hope he outgrows it as many kids do, try another round of infusions we can’t afford, try non-FDA approved (for this illness) immune system meds?? 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ so right now we’re just waiting 2 months to see his specialist again. (Aren’t you glad you asked 😂?)
I hope you’re well, anon!

do you think we will see tayrry at the met gala?
My brain says no because she has logic and reason but my heart says yes because she’s an optimist looking for something to live for
#I mean those two TOGETHER on a red carpet?#might be too much for the world to handle but I’d sure love to see it#especially since I think this year’s theme will be really romantic & pretty#but I’m planning on being disappointed#asks

I think about your son a lot. How is he?
Aw, this is so nice 😭…he’s better than he has been, but not nearly well. We did 3 Rituxan infusions last year (which was brutal) and they seem to have eased the worst of his symptoms, but we’re stuck at the moment in a not-terrible-not-good plateau. He actually has an appointment tonight with a homeopath who comes very highly recommended by other parents of PANS kids, but I don’t feel super optimistic about it.
On the brighter side, he has been able to go back to school this year (it’s been tough, but he goes), and he finished 2nd in the spelling bee and is in the top math and reading groups (he’s in 5th grade) after basically not having any school for 2 years…he’s so smart and he tries so hard. So yeah, we’re just keeping on keeping on, expecting nothing and hoping for nothing but appreciating any good day as it comes along.
#I have to add he would’ve easily won the spelling bee if not for his difficulty speaking due to PANS#he lost on ‘extravagant’ because he started with an a instead of an e#on the written qualifier he got 24/25 and the next best score was 13/25 so#anyway I’ll stop rambling but thank you for thinking of him#he’s the best bravest sweetest boy ❤️❤️#asks
